I swear, if I were running the site I'd put a field halfway down the page that said 'I'm a fucking idiot' with a check box next to it....fifty percent of the people who hit the site would check the box because they don't READ. Then when they complained that they didn't do what they obviously did at least the poor bastard on the other end of the phone could at least have the satisfaction of saying 'oh yeah, you also admitted that you are an idiot...oh, I'm sorry, you don't remember that, either?"

just to clarify what this fat man says...The FREE is a term used the website for you to get the report and score for FREE which is TRUE, what this fat man dont know that the website ,clearly stated that enrollment applies in getting the report...which the website informed potential customers, take note it is not a fine print its a statement which you two naked eyes can read... also they ask for credit card, are you crazy not to think twice...

Thank you for posting this. I always suspected what you say, was the case. Nothing is "free".  At the very least, I suspected these "free" credit reports were a personal information harvesting tool. C'mon, people... These cute commercials cost big bux to produce, and air. Who do you think is going to pay for all of this overhead??

Whoa! I was about to get into this freecreditreport crap and then my wife said that I would be wasting my money. I then decided to see what I could find on youtube about this and found out the truth. Thanks for the info and I will be more carefull with what I do with my money on the web.

thank you for pronouncing the word FREE though i found it so annoying and abusive. in short i didn't like that. you know what you're wasting your time. you're one of the many people I hate the most. educated person I guess knows how to read (not just read but closely pay attention what you get out of the reading). next time, if you don't want to encounter things like this, then dont give out your credit card number, it's your responsibility for not reading the terms and conditons. loser!

Yep, you are so right. Oh well, not losing any sleep over it. just wanted to help let people know to stay away from these guys.

The FTC is after them now and I'm sure after enough of us make this stuff known these guys will have to knock it off. I hope so anyway.
