I went and got this game a few hours ago. And I am loving it! Graphics are stunning,gameplay is amazing. And just the atmosphere is incredible. It is a very action packed game. A must buy.

Sooo, ur saying the chimera were aliens that tried to take over Earth sum time in the past, and lost and came back in the 50's like when this game takes place and infected humans with those cockroach things and Hale and shepard were infected butt hale waz o k t and shepard wasn't and broke out of the lab and lead the chimera? iz all that right? I just beat the first resistance and I stil got sum questions. I still don't get what the chimera are. I guess there just like space aliens right? And why are they so pissed and killing humans left to right? how did the war start?

there is I think 4 player and each has it's own background and weapon type. they also made a different story for co-op. hope that cleared things up.

there aren't any bosses in the first one, there's these things called titans, but they're only like 30 feet

i only played it with my friend, so i never got to fight a widowmaker, actually i never even saw one, what r they? stalkers were big tough enemies, but i wouldn't call them bosses, and i didn't think u ever fought an angle except in that one cutscene.

Widowmakers were these huge spider-like chimera that shot out orgainice bubble-bombs.....or something like that name. and you had to fight Angels towards the end of the game

well, if I remember correctly, they can fly, and they can shoot poison spikes or spires, something like that, and that forms into a cloud of poison, so you don't want to get in that. they're pretty hard even if you play with another person. but some rockets should take care of it. or you could just tag it with a bullseye and just keep running around shooting

This game looks amazing! this is what I mean, these types of games along with Killzone 2 are only the first few games to show you what the PS3 is capable of! it will only get better in time, as more developers see what the PS3 is capable of achieving!

and the majority of them are now realising! the PS3 is the future for gaming entertainment!

looks great, but i have some concerns for instance will it be as hard as 1 cause that was rediculously hard! also 60 player online matches there's no way that will be organised as newbs/idiots will always mess up! also even though from the demo/trailers this looks good isnt that the same like what happened with assasins creed and haze which turned out to be crap! I hope this will be good (as ps3 is curently in short supply of good games) but i think there will be problems.

The ps3 has allot of great games coming out and allready had a good selection. there are more comming out. plus most good games comming out recently are mutiplatform games like resident evil 5, and games like that will be just as good(if not better) on the ps3 then on the 360. resistance may not be the next top seller for the ps3, but it will still be a popular game. so shut the fuck up!!

I bought resistance fall of man when it came out in the uk and i can tell you it is not a hard game!!!! once you stuck it on superhuman then you had a playable game that was not ridiculously easy to complete. whats the point of having a game where you can run through the levels at a crazy speed without enjoying it Also there is no satisfaction when you complete it if its easy.
