  • errol=hot...hot..HOT!!!!

  • Yeah gay meant happy in the forties you idiots are easily amused

  • @mrdoyle71 Being easily amused does not mean that we are idiots.

  • @mrdoyle71 Um... We know, that's why it's funny.

  • Great movie

  • Wow. Funnier than any parody could be. The Forties might have been America's most unintentionally homoerotic era ever.

  • In modern times, I think it statistically impossible to make San Francisco much gayer... like if you were redirected from the "Have A Gay Old Time" page on TvTropes

  • I LOVE OLD FILMS IN BLACK AND WHITE !!!

  • How is this NOT on purpose?

  • Blarney on his lips? Ew...

  • *laugh*

D'aw, look at 'em naughty little nineties!

  • ERROL the genuine GENTLEMAN of Hollywood

  • ¨ i can lick any man in the world i cant belive¨ it

  • ...With blarney on his lips, his adventures made old San Fransico gayer. Wow.

    -Tabris

  • ...Steps the most FABULOUS figure of old San Francisco.

  • "all except one sir, all except one.."

  • truly, he was san fran's most fabulous figure.

  • he really made them gayer with that "lightning in his fist" fufufufufu

  • The lighting was in his legs, silly.

  • lmao at all the phrases that sound wrong

  • Wow, he mad san fransico even gayer? That's a feat!

  • I'm sure this is a lovely movie, but I can't get past how filthy everything sounds.

  • An excellent cast in an excellent film.

  • Paging Mr. Herman.

  • Noted that they said "His adventures made Old San Francisco gayer." but they missed noting the line that followed that: "He always did his best work in the clinches."

  • What about "I can lick any man in the world!"

  • MORE..!!!

  • Movie plays games with the truth (doesn't it always?). Sullivan had actually been in retirement for ten years when fight took place. Still, outstanding movie, and one of the final scenes with Sullivan handing belt over to Corbett is a real tear-jerker. Could serve as a role model to today's thugs in pro sports......

  • What fight? The fight in 1892?

  • what most people don't know is that errol was very ill from his adventuring days in the tropics in many of his movies, like this one, yet you would never know it, he always came through for his fans, when he felt his worst he gave his best, that was the majic of errol flynn.

  • Gentlemen Jim Corbett and Errol Flynn. Two champions!
