  • Great video could have talked rather the text but still good video

  • @blackarmsairsoftteam Thanks! It is just that I am a HORRIBLE narrator! It take me over 15 minutes just to record and get right a fifteen second message on a voicemail!

  • @808Kameleon Yea i understand

  • heads up the stock scope is poo. i got my mauser sr about a month ago. i advise upgrade

  • @gwrestleri Agreed! I replaced mines with a Bushnell. And it is still little adjusted after aproaching three years! Meaning I only had to tweek it a little!

  • 45:55

  • why is there no 37:26

  • Thanks this helped, because I couldn't figure the darn thing out!

  • Thanks Man

    XD

  • at around 5:15 why do u twist the dials?

  • @1337AceOfSpades1337 To adjust the scope...

  • haha if it were a real bullet.... coboom right throught the scope and into the eye

  • @rajanroo Wrong. The type of optics they have now will not allow even a .306 though. It was proven by Mythbusters.

However, Carlos Hathcock, Vienam War Hero/Sniper, with 93 confirmed VC kills, did say that he did kill an enemy sniper "right through his scope". The optics back in WW2 and Vietnam was not as complex as the optics we have now with poro-prism and lighted rectical and such.

  • I'm using a Mauser L96 (I forgot the entire name, it says Mauser on the side of my gun though so i'm assumeing it's a Mauser) and I have been trying to zero it for some time now but it seems I run into the same problem with every rifle and scope. I would like to zero it with 0.2 gram BB's BUT when I use them they fly high and to the right, even with the scope zeroed max up and right. As well as Hop-up placed to the lowest setting. It's doing the same with .25's as well. What am I doing wrong?

  • @uprising5900 Zero it in with the weight of the pellets you are using! If you are using .25, then zero it in using .25! Next, set the hop-up to maximum flight distance WITH the .25 pellets. On a windless day or indoors with a lot of spece, test fire your rifle. The pellets should fly straight and far. THEN you zero in you scope. I suggust using a gun rest or thick books all stacked. Keep rifle as steady as possible. Move cross hairs in the direction your pellets are going!

  • Ok... now...I need help. My shots always drop 2 inches and move to the left 3 inches when the shot is 20 ft. away. I have turned the top to where i have literally stripped it to being able to barely move the top (it will not turn right anymore because it is fully tight) and to move to the left is the same problem. Any suggestions on how to re-adjust this? even to make it some what more accurate? i have tried literally just removing the scope and trying different spots to hold it. same results

  • @rubixxes If your shots are dropping, you should move the cross hairs DOWN, so turn your elevation dials counter-clockwise. So turn left. If your shots are going to the left, turn the windage dial counter clock-wise to move the cross-hair to the left. Counter-clockwise.

Rule of thumb. Move the cross-hairs in the direction your shots are going!

If the dials are stuck and stripped, replace your scope. The scope is ruined.

  • @808Kameleon yeah... if i could find a way to make it so my scope aimed lower than the bb's hit then i could zero it because im just maxed out on the scope going down and left and i stripped the head going that way (if i needed to tighten more i could carve out a deeper cut and use a coin) but i have no way to make the bullet go up. Now i've looked at the hop up. how does this work? i have no clue i've messed with it and it hardly effects the shot. Does hop up only work with like 60 ft shots????

  • @rubixxes Your hop up adjustment on a Mauser SR or the Pro-Tactical is in front of the mag releag tab. You can adjust it with the supplied allen wrench. Some sniper rifle has the hop-up adjustment in the right side. With the hop-up adjustment set right, you pellets suppose to travel more than 120 feet! So you have to adjust the hop up before adjusting the scope.

  • @808Kameleon can i skip the leveling step...or will it REALLY effect the accuracy i dont have any levels...

  • @whiteeyedbeast1 If you can make sure your rifle IS level, you can skip the bubble level part. It is for those who wants dead-on accuracy. You can use stackes of thick books for making your rifle as level as possible...

  • @808Kameleon ok thanks =D have a great day

  • this was a great video. thank you for this!

  • Should I turn the hop-up off or what should I do with it when I zero-in ?? Nice vid btw :))

  • @Nemnoah Adjust your hop up FIRST with the weight of pellets you will be normally using. I suggest .23 for stock rifles. Adjust the hop up until the pellets fly far and straight. THEN you adjust your scope accordingly to this video.

  • Is the AGM L96 a bad rifle?

  • @BroncosBMF It should be the same quality as my Mauser SR, since it is made by the same Chinese manufacturer. WELL, AGM, UTG, Cybergun, Bravo, Tercel are all the SAME rifle with different name! The first thing you have to do is check your trigger assembly. If it is plastic, replace it with the metal one. Up-grades are also available from $30 - $700.00.

    =D

  • What the hell is that thread lock

  • @ahenryb1 Thread Lock is recommended in all airsoft use if you play at a large wooded field or forest. Even urban terain. Tread Lock prevents the screws from un-screwing when even taking the rifle out of a gun case, in battle, or worst. Your scope being accidently bumped into a tree, or a branch. That is when you will appreciate Thread Lock. I never lost a screw at all yet!

  • did u use. 20g bbs. pls answer soon!

  • @maxvelocitygaming Use the weight of pellets you are normally going to use for the airsoft games you play when adjusting your scope. You do not want to adjust your scope to .20, then use .25 - .28. The flight characteristics will be drastically different!

  • What Scope is that by any chance? I'm having trouble with mine adjusting elevation and windage. Mine does not the 'Quarter Slot' method, and after a certain amount of change it becomes really rough to turn.

  • @TheWiseChickens Do NOT force the dials! You can permanently damage your adjustment dials!

The scope I am using for this video is the stock scope. Then replaced it wih a Bushnell blue illuminated recticle 3-9X40E with built in bubble level.

Try and take your scope off from the rail, and take the scope off from the mountin rings. Sometimes, the scope does NOT sit in the mounting rings dead center when you start tightening the screws! And the dials should be CENTER before adjustments.

  • @808Kameleon Does the Bushnell scope have a quarter slot? Also, where is it available? The scope I've got bluntly refuses to cooperate more often than not.

  • @TheWiseChickens The Bushnell scope I have now does NOT have both a flathead screwdriver OR the "quarter slot". It has dials that you can turn with your fingers and thumb. It has blue illuminated recicle (cross hairs and mildots), and a green level bubble indicator built INTO the scope. I think I got it for around $40.00 shipping included with some other parts I ordered... from Hong Kong. I do not rememeber which shop. Either from eHobby Asia, Tokyo-Model, WGC, Dentrinity, or UNCompany.

  • My rifle shoots 470 FPS...

  • @pikamew6 Mines now shoots at 534+ FPS with .20 Excel.

  • Nice video mate!

    Thanks!

  • starting with all the dials turned all the way to the right for both of them how many times did you click them each please anwser

  • @tangodown23 Number of clicks will not matter if your cross hairs does not move when you turn your dials. If you have your dials all the way right, then the allignment of your scope is WAY off! You should start from CENTER of your dials, and start from there!

Try and re-do the installation of your scope. It could be out of allighnemnt. Place the scope ring mounts as far apart on the top rail of your rifle as possible.

  • @808Kameleon thanks that actually helped to re aline my scope

  • WOW! Never would've even thought of that! I don't know what magnification your scope is, but mine is a 4X32, does it matter how far away I am from my target when I am zeroing in my scope?

Great video by the way and thank you so much for putting it up!

  • @lilhinkle4444 My scope is a 3 - 9X 40.

The best way to zero-in your scope is to set the USUAL shooting distance that you will be firing. Or set your target at exactly 100 feet. Fire five rounds into your target. Then set your cross hairs to the grouping. Then look at the surrounding of your target, and KNOW (keep in mind) the distance 100 feet will look to you from where you are. This is important, because this will be your setting standard. Elevation adjustment will be made from here.

  • @808Kameleon I would love to set my target 100 feet away, fix my gun to a locked position, and sight it in. But, I don't know where I would do that indoors, and I wouldn't want to sight my scope in outdoors. Also, I'm struggling in finding a way to keep my gun in a locked position.

  • @lilhinkle4444 "Locked Position" is a GREAT terminology! YES! I keep my rifle "locked" at 100 feet. If I have to fine tune the windage or elevation, I aim my rifle at a pole on my neighbor's side, which is about 98 1/2 feet (100 feet) from my table. The back door is wide open. I have to shoot half way through my livingroom, through my kitchen, and out the door over to my neighbor's driveway to the pole. I look for a knot on the pole, aim, and fire. I WATCH the flight path of my pellet...

  • @808Kameleon ... then make necessary adjustments, starting with the windage, then finally with the elevation. In your mind, you just have to REMEMBER what 100 feet looks like at the target you are looking at. Then when you are in battle, that image of 100 feet away will set you to use the Mildots to compensate for that classic one shot kill shot!

Believe it or not, even during combat, I do NOT fine tune my dials at ALL, like how you see REAL snipers do! It is all calculated by the Mildots!

  • @808Kameleon What color BB's do you recommend? I use .36 green BB's for my Echo 1 ASR, sometimes I can see them perfectly and other times I cannot see them at all. I might try white, seeing how I use white .25's for my Echo 1 STAG Arms M4/16 and I can always see them.

  • @lilhinkle4444 Color should NOT matter in airsoft sniping~! Green for .36 indicate you are using MadBull pellets? I LOVED .36 until our local stores ran OUT, and I opt to buy the next weight up with great hesitation. MadBull .40 (brown). I go by weight, NOT color! Keep in mind, that if you can see the flight your your pellets, so can your victim!

My rifle can carry those .40 with devestating results! A game we played at an Army Training Facility. I was hiding in the dark in a room...

  • @808Kameleon ... on the ground floor, near the back wall. So I was in the dark. I had one large window, and the doorway to spot the enemy's position in the building "across the street". I see a head pop up, aim, fire. The pellet flies over his head at 12:30 position, and he ducks. He must had heard my pellet zinging over his head, and hit the wall behind him. Then after the third time, the pellet strikes him right on the face shield, right between his eyes! The PERFECT KILL SHOT! =D

  • @808Kameleon Hahaha nice! That is a good point though, I don't want my enemies seeing my bb coming for them. And yes I use green ,36 Madbulls, and so far they're great. I've hit targets that plenty of my friends tried hitting with their sniper rifles and they can't. I love my E1 ASR, but I really want to KNOW that it is sighted to the best that it can be.

  • @lilhinkle4444 Once I am confident that my scope is sightingted in, then I do NOT re-do any adjustments on the field, unless the scope had been somehow bumped out of allignment during transport from my home to our battlefield. I would never re-adjust my scope once it is set. To compensate for distance and wind, I simply use the coss hairs and the mildots. The secret is to simply KNOW your rifle! How it behaves with different weight pellets and how pellets react to the wind.

  • I have a UTG M324 gen 5 and the scope is so off that the bbs dont even hit the target............what should i do

  • @MrSkater1821 Take your scope off, and repeat the steps in this video. But FIRST, you have to check if your pellets are flying straight and true before adjusting your scope. And your hop-up properly adjusted.

  • Thanks man

  • Thank You

  • does this technique work for airsoft red dot ACOGS too?

  • I need some help. My sniper isn't shooting straight... I'm trying to zero in my scope, I hold my sniper the same way and aim at the same spot and shoot three times and every bb goes where it wants... Should I get better barrel spacer or what should I do ?

  • @markkus2007 First, try and clean the inside of your barrel with a wad of paper towel soaked with silicone oil, and push it through with your ram rod.Do this with the bolt out, and with the hop-up turned to minimum. Then wait for 15 minites, and adgust your hop-up, and try again. Usually, it is just crud inside the inner barrel. But if the pellets still goes all over the place, try and use better quality pellets like Excel or KSC, or MadBull. And use .23, or .25.

  • @808Kameleon Okay i'll try that, but is it possible that my inner barrel is moving around and causing this ?

  • Oh yah that's from Airsplat.com

  • The best sniper for beginners is the well l96 mb01 it has 500 hundred fps and the fps is adjustable plus it comes with its own bipod and scope all for 150$

  • To Mclafan86.

I would recommend the echo1 m28 . It is 175$ and comes with two mags, bipod, the gun, and a speedloader

  • what is the best sniper under $175 and is for beginners ?

  • where u get the mounts from ?

  • My question is should I turn the hop up off ? Because I have seen people saying that and I want your answere.

  • hi, i just bought myself a Well L96 airsoft replica with scope and bipod and i was wondering i can't focus my scope when i'm zoomed in do you know why?

  • @vamphunte The scope that came with the rifle is a cheaply made scope (made in CHINA). I would first set the cross hairs without the scope magnified. Inother words, the weakest "power". Then USUALLY, you can see well untill you reach 5-6X, then over 7X, the image becomes blurry. By 9X, it is way too blurry. What you could do is set it in the middle, about 4 1/2X power. Then the dial at the edge of the scope lens that you look into, rotate the dial while viewing into it until image is OK

  • Ok so If I set it at 50feet then I use the mil dots up for longer than 50 feet and down for shorter than 50 feet?

  • I know I sound like an idiot, but what are mil-dots? And how far were you shooting from trying to zero it? Please reply cause I wanna be different other than my friends with erlectric guns and I'm getting a sniper for Xmas

  • @LegendaryFPS Mil-dots are the dots or lines you see when you view through a rifle scope. Each dot or lines will aquire your target aquisition. Also used for compensating moving or distant targets. You need to set your center aim point to "set" your scope to where your pellets or other projectiles are going.

I live in a small apartment, so I was shooting quite close. You need to set your center aim point to the distance you usually shoot, or you could set your aim point to 100 feet.

  • nice tutor, but you must still considering the shot grouping result.....

  • @maxrylluc This video is for BEGINNERS! Most people out there are mostly kids who have no clue how to adjust then zero in their scope. I am thinking of doing a secondary video for intermediate sniping. That is when I will do a demo on shot grouping. And a few other secrets that will anger hardcore airsoft snipers! Because..... it suppose to be our secret!

    ;]

  • @808Kameleon i'm subscribed, but if you didn't uploading the secret, pass me by message please....coz i'm sniping too but using JG bar-10 bolt action, many friend laughing at me why i'm using sniper riffle than other electric riffle...i said "i feel no pleasure from wasting 1 mag's of bbs for 1 hit"

  • @maxrylluc Now that you Subscribed, you have all winter break coming soon to look through my many videos of upgrades. And check a few videos called "Sniping Fun At Nanakuli Ranch" I THINK that is the title. The video is NOT in production as of yet. A few other Subscribers are "asking" me as you are. I promise you this! It will be a mind blower! Please be patient, and when I am not as busy as I am right now, the video will be produced!

    =)

  • @808Kameleon otw the video, and waiting for the new video...

  • I find the Mauser sr to be quite inaccurate. Help?

  • @xenior8 OK... First, determine if you had adusted your scope as demonstrated.

    2) How old is your rifle?

    3) Are you using those pellets that came with the rifle?

Finally, is your rifle purchased brand new or used?

  • Thanks that really helped. But wont the bullets fly differnet over different ranges?

  • @lasernater Yes. I live in a conjested neighbothood with apartments everywhere, so I could only do this video indoors.

The best thing to do is adjust your cross hairs to your usual shooting distance. But ONLY do this on a windless day. And use only the weight of pellets that you would normally use. I recommend .23 - 25 for stock rifles, shooting up to 100 feet. .28 for stock rifles shooting up to no more than 120 - 130 feet max. UPGRADED rifles, .35 -.40 up to 200+ feet.

  • @808Kameleon Thanks for the quick reply. But if i was only to shoot 40-50ft could i use .20 grams? And they gun i have is an AGM MP001 airsoft sniper. 400-415fps with .20grams.

  • @lasernater Short didtances, it is OK. But try and using .23 - .25 past your 50 foot shot. And see through your scope the difference!

  • @808Kameleon Thanks

  • "D'OH!" LOOL!

  • @toxphil Another "dumb-dumb" writing dumb comments in people's videos. Checking your Channel, that seems all that you do. Pity!

  • thank you it really helped

  • @808Kameleon sorry bout misspellin your name

  • @808KHAMELEON

If I use this method will it be good for any range or just the range that I used to zero?

  • @cadz228 It will be good for the distance you zero your scope. But you can use what you had zeroed to use the mil-dots for farther or closer. It will take practice and when done without re-adjusting, you can get one shot kill shot each time! PRACTICE make perfect. But getting the scope zeroed to your barrel, that is the first step. The second is to keep watching through your scope where the shots are going each time, then shoot closer, then farther, and WATCH the pellets where they are....

  • do we got to turn the dial with a quarter after we take the covers off or was u just showing us that we can turn it with a quarter

  • @antiSUPERMAN21 YES! You can turn the dials with a quarter. On the field, most will not carry a screw driver, so a quarter in your pocket can adjust the dials. Helpful for fine tuning during intense combat...

  • just to ask does it matter what range you use when zeroing your scope

  • @fergie636 USUALLY, you set your scope at the estimated normal shooting distance. But once you have it zeroed, then it is the Mil dots that will have you hit your target. You just have to learn how to "master" the usage of the mildots...

  • @808Kameleon thanks, much appreciated

  • wat about long range? i did the same but for long range, the bbs goes wierd( adjust the hop up all the way up ,means highest hopup) anyways (with highest hopup) at short range, idk but im using a VSR 10 and cant level it so ,the first 3 shoot :first shoot, accurated, 1 shot kill second shoot: , out of the line, its move like 2cm third shoot : 1 shoot kill....can you help me?

  • @Phamnhatminh99 It could be your pellets and wind. Lighter pellets will fly off at LONG distances. Is your VSR stock, or modified? For STOCK rifles, I recommend .23 - .25 weight. You could use .28 for up to 30 meters (98 feet). Beyond that, you will loose range.

Most rifles, even if fully upgraded, will not be dead-on accurate shot after shot. It all depends on the wind when shooting outsdoors, how clean your inner barrel is, and of, course, the quality of your pellets.

  • @808Kameleon thanks ill try .25 g thanks for helping me out!

  • @Phamnhatminh99 One more thing. Use KSC or KWA or Excel pellets. You can also use MadBull .25. Any generic brands, do NOT use!

  • @808Kameleon can i use like japan's bbs?

  • @Phamnhatminh99 KSC & Excel suppose to be Japanese made pellets. But shop owners tell me now they are made in Taiwan! You could use Maruzen Grand Master. They are the best!

  • @808Kameleon oh i see! thanks

  • i got an exact like airsoft sniper rifle and scope! :D but what kind of bb's do you use? 0.28? 0.30? 0.36? :)

  • @papergunknut For stock rifles with NO upgrades. .23 - .25. With the upgrades I have now (spent over $680.00 after selling the first upgrade set), I am using MadBull .40. I prefer .36, but it is usually all sold out here locally.

  • @808Kameleon Thanks for the answer ;) i think this vid is really good :)

  • Nice video and good shooting :-)

  • my scope is all the way across to the left but its still far off any help ??

  • @GWSkingmotely96 First, visually check your scope alignment from the top. Is your scope aligned with your barrel? If not, re-do the scope installation. Is the scope mount clamped on the rails properly? This can throw off allignment. If all is good, but the pellets are still flying to your left, you may have some crud in your inner barrel. Get your cleaning rod, some silicone oil, and turn your hop-up all the way down, and clean your barrel. Fire 10 rounds without aiming, then repeat.

  • Rice cooker.

  • Would there be any reason to remove e scop from the rings?

  • @legoarmydude For pre-adjustment and the actual adjustment. The main issue is the windage (side-to-side) adjustment, as you need the horizontal (and vertical) line to compensate for the wind direction you are firing into. But once you dial in your scope, I would lock-tite the screws to make the scope a "permanent" fixture of your rifle. My scope hasn't been removed at all for 2 whole years! And it is still delightfully ACCURATE!

  • Yes it's the stock scope....now I have to buy a new scope any recommendations? Like 60$ max.

  • @44Tapout Before getting a new scope, center both dials, and re-do the process again. It could be that your scope is not centered in the rings. Another idea is to place the rings as far apart from each other as possible.

  • Nice vid, but the hop up on my Well l96 awp makes the zeroed in scope unaccurate at long ranges.

  • @MrMrPhantomz In long range shooting, it is the flight of the pellet that becomes inacurate. Especially if you are using .25 or lighter for sniping. And in sighting for longer range, you should compensate using the mil-dots elevation for your distance shots. It is trial and error until you KNOW how to use your scope to the fullest, and get that head shot at 200 feet or more.....

  • @808Kameleon Oh ok thanks dude. I get what you are saying. ^_^

  • nice video helped a lot but if you zoom in will you have to sight it again????

  • @alkiky6 For airsoft, NO.

  • @alkiky6 For airsoft, NO. Once you set it. It should be fine. Just compensate using the mil-dots.

  • Hi there. I tried your method, but my scopes elevation needed to go down more And it started to get hard to turn the nobs, it cracked my scope, on the inside still visible. But can I still zero in? Y or how did it need more?

  • @44Tapout Is it your stock scope?

  • TALK god damn it! lol

  • @zenkicookies If I DID talk in my videos, I wouldn't have 560+ Subscribers! It IS better to just watch and learn than someone talkig all over his videos!

  • Best video i have found, Thanks!

  • Paste your target on the door window, you'll be able to see it better.

  • Well, Depending on how I look through my scope, the crosshairs are in different places. Like if I move my head a little, the crosshairs move drastically. How can I zero in a scope if this keeps happenening? Theres no way Il get my head in the exact same place

  • I dont live in th USA so i dont have a 'quarter' what else can i use.

  • @MrISniiPE Any Euro coin that can fit the groove of the dial. You can use a short stubby flat head screw driver to fit.

  • @808Kameleon

Yeah I ended up with the screw driver 10 minutes later, thanks anyway.

  • can any one help my scope is kinda slanted a little, how do i fix that?

  • @DeathMetalMorty Loosen the screws ont op of your scope rings, and rotate your scope opposite of the "twist' of where your scope is now. Check, then re-tighten your screws.

  • @DeathMetalMorty tighten one side more

    :)

  • thank you for the guidance, can i come to you with questions?

  • @TrueComposure Yes, you may! Dozens of other people already do!

  • とてもいい動画ですね!

    very nice.

  • nice set of cutco knives mate ;) expensive as fuck those are.

  • @KunaiKnight Great sniper's eyes! YUP! Cutco. Will last me a lifetime!

  • @808Kameleon mhmm ;) i have a set too i LOVE them and great vid mate my sniper is dead on now :D

  • Any 1 have a website that I can get a l96 for cheaper than a $100 please help!

  • @BallzOfSteal69 If you can get a scope, sniper, and bipod for under $100, dont buy it. It will most likely be cheap junk. I would suggest around $150 if your looking for a decent one. Try Airsplat or Airsoftgi websites.

  • omg this vid helped SO MUCH

  • Lego reviews 44 use hop up the opposit direction they fly

  • I bet 40$. That is an ncstar 3-9x40 scope. I have 1

  • this vid really helps! been trying to zero my scope for a while lol.

  • what scope is?

  • Hi, i just wonder u put glue 3:00. Could u tell me the reason? This

  • @yuanmengqu It is Thread Lock, not glue. It keeps your screws from coming loose, And this is very important in the field, because I tightened my screws very tight, and it still came lose and I lost a nut & washer. So I now thread lock ALL my screws.

  • Can i get the model of the gun?

    and does it shoot pellets?

  • @beastyasianman It is called a Mauser SR sniper rifle by Cybergun. It shoots 6mm soft air (airsoft) plastic pellets.

  • @808Kameleon Thanks

  • Awwww shiettt i see a rice cooker at 9:20 on the floor -__- (Asian face)

  • @Tranquilasian

    =D

YES! It is a 20 year old Panasonic rice cooker/warmer!

  • @808Kameleon Haha i have a big one all homo that is like 5 years old i think and btw nice vid keep it up subscribed:D

  • Theres a thing called talking yah u should do it

  • thanks a lot, very helpful

  • nice help but i dont think you will be shoting ppl that close

  • @krohy13 True, but this video is about the BASIC adjustment of zeroing your scope. I had 12 year olds thanking me for this video because they were doing the opposite. Making adjustment BEFORE firing the group of shots first then moving the cross hairs to the grouping.

I did comment that I live in a small apartment in rural Honolulu.

I have MY sniper rifle set fr 100 feet, and make adjustments mentallyf rom tehre, get my target all the time!

    ;]

  • what about distance and hop up ?

  • @XxEzkiLLer26xX Set your hop up with the weight of the pellets you will be usually be using. .23 -.28 for stock and brand new rifles. .30 - .40 for upgraded rifles. Do not change pellets once you set your hop up for it. It will wear out the hop- up mechanism.

Zero your scope at your USUAL shooting distance with NO wind. In this video demo, I shot indoors, because I live in an small apartment. But this video should give you an idea HOW to set your scope.

  • @808Kameleon thanks helped a lot

  • ok so i could never get my sniper completely zeroed in so i have a few questions first off do you have to start the zeroing at the lowest zoom? and the next is if i do then do oyou have to rezero it when i zoom it in?

  • @TruckerBill9 Yes. Use the lowest magnification. Fire five steady shots, and without the rifle moving, move your crosshairs towards the five shot pattern. And you should be set! Zooming in, you should not re-adust your scope at all. In fact, I never dope my scope at all. Once I have the cross hairs adjusted, I move the image to the distance and and compensate for the wind by tilting the cross-hairs into the wind. So once you have it centered, you are set! KNOW YOUR RIFLE!

  • @808Kameleon also if i zero it in from a lets say a really close distance do i have to rezero if i go further out

  • @TruckerBill9 I would set the scope for the usual distance you would be normally shooting at. I set MY scope to about 100 feet. This video, I live in a small apartment, so I just have to make do what I can.

But as I mention, once you set your scope to the grouping shots, you should be set, bcause that group of pellets shot out is where your pellets are going!

Set your scope and target to your usual shooting distance, and make sure there is NO wind!

  • yeah its great that you could snipe a guy at 8 feet away inside your house. show me some real sniping!
