@GoddessofCoruscant black money is paid cash under the table with the intention of NOT having to pay tax. In Holland almost everyone I knew had SOME black income. This is because the taxes are too high. Even the sales tax is 20%. People just can't afford the 20-25% of the population on welfare. Of which only ten% are real welfare cases. The rest just collect because it's so easy.
I know all about Peronism and the parallels between Obamism, having studied Peronism and modern Argentine history for 9 years. Whatever good the Perons may have done, such as giving women the vote, it was undone by taking Argentina from first to third world status. They say no learning is ever wasted. But first, I checked out two books from the library, on the Peron's devastating tidal wave of destruction. Our careening towards socialism and the encroaching threat of Islam are NOT part of the legacy I wished to leave to my progeny. This brilliant musical is for entertainment purposes only. Truth must be found elsewhere.
@SGl963 the musical is a pretty accurate portrayal despite what Peronistas and their sympathizers say but if anything it made things look better than they were. It covered up the Perons Nazi ties and the torture used by the Peron regime. Evita supporters say Mrs. Peron played no part in the atrocities, but I'd have to say she had to have been blind and dumb if she didn't know what was going on.
we need to get out there and vote the Democrats out and also get signatures in our hometowns to try and repeal this health care law. Also be watching the immigration debate---they want to finish their destruction of America in 2012

These sorts of relationships are cyclical, because the sorts of people who become socialists move to those places where the pickings are most lucrative. It's much like how gangs of pirates work. Once they've looted and ruined the economies of the societies they usurp, they move on to fresher victims.
Well done but they missed one thing, the CHANGED TO THE BANKING LAWS, that protected the nations money.

Australia is in the same dilemma. We already have medicare, and the welfare mentality, the gst (vat) payroll taxes etc etc etc...
People keep voting in the Labor Government, which is the same as the American Liberals/Democrats.
It's a very sad state of affairs...and very frightening.

When the motivation to earn money is slowly eroded by increased taxes people stop trying.
People begin to earn "black money", that is cash under the table.
So few people will benefit from the health care bill it's stupid. The bill costs BILLIONS but only 40 million need help.... what a joke.
The democrats under Obama are just cannibalizing america.
