I have gone to specialty shops looking for specific items and have been treated very similarly. The first thing I do is ask to speak to the manager/owner, then I explain to them why I am not going to spend any money in their shop! I would rather wait for an online order than give money to people who are jerks!

with the height issue, have you checked out the boots, shoes, sneakers, etc that make you up to 5 inches taller? I use them all the time depending on what I am wearing, dress up to dress down. Just a thought. little pricey but you can find good deals sometimes. I bought some steel toed boots at a local store 3 sizes to big and wide and slipped in a pair of those inserts that make you 2-3 inches taller. It works when your on a budget. just a thought. It does make a difference and adds confidence

But I have a little twist to add: Southern women are MEANER!!! I was born in the south, left it for over 20 years and now am back - ugh! ugh! ugh! Watch your back when you come down to the South.

hey charles thanks for this vid, this is definitely one thing i have been struggling for a long time, being inferior and possibly a complex because I am also short 4'11'' and I am not particularly masculine so it makes it more difficult, really love the description about how men see each other as competitors but females tend to bond on the same level. i also was is a band with all cis-men, and was the drummer, if i we're to experience it now it'd be a whole different story!! peace&love j
