  • Are those two your Nans?

  • ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♥♪♪♪♪♪♪♪

  • I came at 0:42.

  • My father in law used to watch them at the dunes. He was a fortunate man.

  • This is killer...this is the origin of PUNK...period...\m/

  • Crazy ! ! !

  • Their live show was the best you'll ever want to see. Wall of Sound, brought to you live, on stage. If you ever caught them at Club Carousel or Knights of Columbus in Kingsville, you're a lucky hombre, living a charmed life. If you saw them doubled with the Elevators, you wouldn't trade it for a million dollars.

  • I had the privilege of seeing these guys about a dozen times, mostly at old Koenig Hall in Castroville, Texas. The energy and enthusiasm was simply amazing, and they brought good live music to the boonies of South Texas. Thanks for posting this on youtube. My old 45s were lost in a moving van fire 20 years ago, and now I can listen to the Thaks again.

  • Very cool. I also noticed them on an old Pebbles comp. These guys rock! Thanks for sharing.

  • Bad Girl - The Zakary Thaks [Corpus Christi, Texas] - 1966 - "KILLER piece of Texas punk." - Face To Face-1995. NOTE: One of the best garage bands of the '60s, and one of the best teenage rock groups of all time. The group added a thick dollop of Texas raunch to their fuzzy, distorted guitars and hell-bent energy. Most importantly, they were first-rate songwriters.

  • Thaks for the Zaks!

  • When I first listened to the Garage "Nuggets" Collection this song jumped out at me. Holy Punk Rock Batman!

  • Amazing 60s Garage Punk tune! One of my favorites for sure! Nice video too, dig those dancing girls!

  • The only thing to come out of Corpus that's worth a shit...

  • @jocelynn62985 Stereo Shoestrings "On The Road South" is as hysterical as this one though!

  • @jocelynn62985 There is a Garage Rock revival coming out of Corpus Christi!!! stay tuned for it. Space Fuzz, Indian Eat Cactus, Los Sanchos. 3 bands to look up. all from corpus.

  • @sydswirl my buddies Dead Passenger play with Space Fuzz alot,so I'm familiar with them. i know some of the guys in Los Sanchos,Indian Eat Cactus is a new one to me. Too bad this music never really survives in that city. it's a shame considering alot of great bands came from there, but in the last 10 years it's been the pits. I stick with Austin bands myself....

  • @jocelynn62985 have you been to corpus lately?? its changed so much, there is businesses opening up downtown left and right, most of them are friends of ours just wanting to do something. Turban Sues Exotic Record Boutique is one of them, owned by patrick, the guitarist of Los Sanchos. Abel Lopez is my best friend, he plays in both los sanchos and space fuzz and we work together as solo artist, Im "Indian Eat Cactus" and he goes by "Corpus Gold". google those names for some free downloads!

  • the birth of punk!! i can hear that the angry samoans were into these dude's! thanx for posting
