  • Idon't like the fact that you have put Italian in brackets beside this! This is not Italian this is Napolitano, there is no such word as Italian! In the south we are reffered to as being from the three islands of sicily! which is campania, puglia and calabria.

  • Original from Renato Carosone is better ;)

  • @IC114283 the original version is this one: Guaglione is a song by Aurelio Fierro.. ;)

  • @KNOceanSoul Yeah you're right. Still like Carosone better though ;)

  • @IC114283 You're right! Carosone and his band are great musicians! ;)

  • @IC114283 THIS IS THE ORIGINAL!

  • What a voice!! The best singers come from Italy..no, I'm not Italian, but wish I was!

  • Its not the italian language. Its probably the napoletano... Non capisco una parola! :D

  • Greetings from Canada

I think Napoli is part of Italy, therefore they must speak Italian too! See your map of Italy: south of Roma, north of Salerno. LOL

  • @SPENNA99

It's a dialect, and according to some an altogether different language. Not sure about the, but certainly it is quite different from Italian

An example (neapolitan - italian - english):

Chi desidere 'e vasà, scordatèlla piccerì = chi desideri baciare, dimenticatela piccolo = the one you want to kiss, forget her kid

  • @SPENNA99 No they still speak napoletano my zia and nona come's from Castelfranco in Miscano Benevento and they speak napoletano

    BTW Aurelio Fierro speak's napoletano

  • @SPENNA99

The fact that Naples is in Italy doesnt mean they speak italian there. Why all americans are sooo ignorant?

In Italy there are more than 20 different local and regional languages and dialects. The reason of this (it is quite obvious fore anyone who studied history) is that the todays territory of Italy belonged to several smaller or bigger countries in the (not so far) past.

Greeting from Europe where people still study geography and history.

  • @sentofelice Eheheheheh indeed Italy in it's present form is "only" 150 years old.

  • @sentofelice

"Greeting from Europe where people still study geography and history."

Mi hai fatto morire dal ridere..XD

Però è vero, non capisco perchè i nord-americani siano così ignoranti in geografia e storia. E' incredibile.

  • @exnemocpt Mi sembra che io conosca il perche'. Loro semplicemente non studiano la geografia e conoscono solo la storia degli Usa (cioe' i 200 ultimi anni).

  • @sentofelice

Però....come polacco scrivi davvero bene in italiano: complimenti! :-)

  • @SPENNA99 yes, napoli is part of italy it is a state! but napoletano is other lenguage, or other dialect!

  • oh come on man..it aint that difficult.. enough with putting the southern italians down..

  • :_! D Sorry if that is how it came across! I'm Canadian but my birthplace is in Calabria - so a big thumbs up to all Italians! :-)

  • It wasn't for you , it was for sentofelice..and all those arrogant italians that think the south should be seperated from the north.. i just love napuletano and south italian dialects thats all..

  • @PanosL1 Napule rint o kor pe semp :D:D:D:D

  • @PanosL1 actually, I'm Polish. But... whatever.
