It sounds weird. But our Papa Gé is a short pacific islander. Though, when he has his makeup on, he looks like a better Edward Cullen than in the cruddy movie.

in many operas/musicals you can use mezzo for soprano role etc and a girl for male role, as long as it suits the director's need
