Its now Patch 3.3.5 and when i run out he does not quit combat, he follows me even if i jump down in the lake outside. I guess this glitch is fixed?

3.3.5 confirmed this works for warlocks to. here is exactly what I did. I ran up to the boss slightly touching the healer only and turned around instantly using double clicking on the mouse. I was hit only once by the healer on the way back. then I stop exactly where he stopped in this vid. and turn around with the mouse click method. as soon as he hits you or even slightly before he does you start to run but then STOP before the tigers hit you. that should do it.(tank and spank with felguard

I've done this bug a few times but haven't done it in a while. Did it tonight (i'm a mage btw) on the 3rd reset, he didn't reset at all. all of them chased me towards the entrance and as i almost got there he ported me to him then killed me. I believe as of now this glitch is fixed

I am a rogue, and find I cannot solo this boss. Normally, to try for my tiger mount, I would ask friends to help - eventually, they got tired of it and I was on my own.

First time using this bug, I got my beloved tiger mount. Absolute FIRST time trying this. I'm not gonna lie - I nearly had a heart attack. Thank you so FUCKING much.

@splanky90 Unless they've changed the way those potions work (Lesser Invisibility Potion and Invisibility Potion), then you will not be able to use them in combat as a means to reset faster/without dying.

My last workable doorway glitch was 4th June 2010.

Ever since then, Blizz seemed to have ninja-fixed it.

I could no longer get the boss to transit to P2. The boss would either lose all aggro and reset.. or come pounding on you with his trolls. Tried like 20-30 times since 6th June and never got it to work.

Can anyone confirm this?

question: is the pulls culmutative? as in if i pull it successfully first time, but fail the second time, do i have to pull three successful ones from here or do i only need to pull 2 more?

They do NOT need to be in direct succession. If you fail at any point, consider it a pause in the 3 glitches. When you come back to start attempts again, you'll still have whatever number of successful glitches 'under your belt' so to speak and don't have to start over.

Still works as of 23-05-10, the trick with the door etc ALWAYS needs to be done 3 times tough, makes me wonder how you did this as a mage, since I can just vanish when he re-aggroes but he will keep attacking you.

@dudutaco I do it as arcane now all the time (a lot easier than frost imo) but it really just relies on how well you can do it. I do it perfect everytime, but I know what I'm doing so I don't find it hard. For arcane, just use a mana shield to bug him into P3 on the third pull, soon as he starts doing his speech, pop mirror images, kill his pets, then nuke him. I kill him before he finishes off my MI's so I take 0 dmg, however if your MI's die, just use mana shield for the last few casts.

Sometimes if not timed right you'll get the other two adds and it won't go into 2nd phase, if this happens then try to leave combat and if you can't just die. If you don't catch the boss but catch the tigers then go on the tree stubto get out of combat. If your leave combat move is on CD then circle the triangle rise that the boss is on trying to avoid any hits and when it omes off CD get out of bosses' LoS so he doesn't hit you witha silence while you're fading or something like that.

This does work as still of 24th of April. You need to time exactly when he's running back and stay where he is on the video. However when he's gonna run back to you simply run to the right. Worked for me 2nd try.

(uploader) I would just like to say that I JUST did this again today and can CONFIRM it still works. I did it exactly like I did in the video (provided that I also did the first two pulls as described in the description), and he bugged out perfectly. However, you must note, that if you want it to work, you MUST reach the tigers to re-engage Thekal BEFORE they reach the archway or it doesn't work properly.

Very convenient that your computer lags right when the priest magically is gone and then you put up your stats window to hide whats going on then suddenly the tiger is there. No wonder people are having trouble with this, you are purposely hiding something.

@catzblu999 If you look at the chat log as well as @ the boss, you'll see that he yells his line that signifies him entering phase 2 as well as him re-incarnating even though he isn't dead (which he does for P2). What you don't see during the initial lag is the boss just switching models (since he wasn't dead) and running to me.

That said, the glitch has become harder since the method posted in this video but it still works. Read some of the previous comments to see how others pulled it off.

This still works after patch 3.3a. Make sure you clear a path to the front entrance so if you mess up you can zone out.

You will know it has worked when you reaggro the tigers and priest but the other 2 trolls keep running back to their spawn point, there is a short delay before the priest transforms.

@dart2589 It's the change they made to Deep Freeze. for mobs immune to deep freeze, it will do increased damage (a HUGE increase). The first time I also saw it I was like "WTF!" lol

I just found why this doesn't work for some mage. You guys probably run in with a Molten Armor, so humanoid adds hit you and get you on their threat lists, so once you run back ito combat they reaggro you back too.

@lothrazar The glitch has become increasingly hard to pull off (not sure what they changed in the mechanics of the fight), however I still receive messages from people saying they pull it off.

As for your specific incident, you need to drop combat (Vanish, Invis, Feign Death) else you just need to die (it works the same as dropping combat[make sure your naked so you don't take a repair bill]).

already fixed... when you pull the boss he deaggro's and you aggro the tigers the phase 2 doesnt start and the boss will never deaggro you and you cant espace then you die 100%

also i tryed that and it didnt work for me i did what he did in the video as a fury warrior.. i just did the first to 0:21 then after i went out of combat i ran to the tigers they aggro'ed me and the boss ran back to me with the adds with him and phase 2 didnt start.. ofc i died because i coulnt ran away from him because he ported me to him.... i might have bad english but dont call people morons..
