I live about 10 miles away from the place where the conzentration camp "Börgermoor" was and Luke Kelly lived about 1.000 Miles away from this place. But anyway, he sings this song with so much passion, it is pretty touching. As if he would have been one of those peat-bog soldiers back then. Great job!
listen people,,, it matters not how u word it, the camps that are spoken of are meant to take away freedom in general.,, or life as that person knows it,,,,, is death any worse???
the first time the term concentration camp was used was by the british in south africa when they set up such extermination camps to kill off the wives and children of the boers. People tend to forget that.
@bluebirdmatt I don't see a huge difference. Both are set up with the aim of extermination. The only point i was making was that concentration camps were invented by the british on one of their many genocide missions.
From Nov 09 to March 2010, out of 19 council houses, allocated by Tralee council 11 went to immigrants. Many Irish people are on the housing waiting list, some waiting for 7yrs, and the houses are going to foreigners.
Kerryman 14/4/10
This at a time when Irish children in care are being moved around in different care homes and B&B's. Some of these kids have been abused and committed suicide - they would greatly benefit from a secure council house.
i like the slower version better. its better for sad reflexion. the faster version is good for working or other activity. i 'm really glad you posted this
i know for the leager, i hear it be the school,i want moore information

@Frankieireland You might want to tell the difference between "extermination" camps and "concentration" camps. there is a huge difference.
