LOL my GTS 450 SLI x2 PALITS platinum editions run 135FPS lols 1080P. 560 not a good card overpriced and one hell of a shity BIOS you need to unlock BIOS before you try your first game and seems you havent. Most or everyone c8 play BF3 because of the 560 architecture. Bad card sorry and you have epic lag when the physics kick in. rather go buy a GT430 or GT520 and run it as your main physics card. It works if you get weird lag at times. Tru story. I went back to 400 series For P and S stats.
@MrDavid2585 You picked up a few common words to do with PC card specs and implemented them in a angry, childish rage about this card. Maybe your just mad you cant afford one?
@ThatBritishGenius It plays pretty much every game I put on it. BF3 lags a tiny bit maxed out, but it's still completely playable. I play Skyrim maxed out, capped at 60 FPS. Minecraft runs at around 100 FPS on 512x512 textures. I think you will really like it.

Put all letters together, but apparently u are so retarded u probably wont manage to. I feel sorry for u that believe even a single gtx 580 can max out bf3 u are by far one of the most retarded ppl i ever met on the inet, good luck in real life if u even have one
Idiots seriously commenting my posts BF3 with 560 ti is not enough at ULTRA, Sweclockers that are very serious site say 2 gtx 580 SLI during METRO beta gave around 80 fps on everythinging maxed out not me making up u kiddeis thinking u know what u talk about have no idea.
for everyone saying a 560 ti is good enough for bf3. you are wrong. BF3 maxes out at HIGH SETTINGS. NOT VERY HIGH, NOT ULTRA. so if u run the beta well on ultra well that means u can run it well at HIGH settings. not ultra or very high...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
well u cant max BF3 out with a shitty gtx 560 ti, not even with sli, SLI gtx 580 gives average 74fps,
all kids saying that they can max BF3 out with sli 560 or 570 are just dreaming, getting 100fps on evrything on ultra when u stand in tunnel is not max it out :P by the way u get 26 fps on ultra with 560 ti :P
@GoJMe6 you lost your mind ?? ! I run BF 3 on ultra with my gigabyte gtx 560 ti and i get 45 -60 fps with a single card !! A sli gt 560 ti '(depends which model you have) performs better than a gtx 580 !
I'm a proud owner of a 580, and I'm happy with the results of running somewhere between high and ultra with 4xAA @ 1080p for BF3. Of course it will run at full specs, but I don't want the framerate to drop to 20 or less when something important happens...
@GoJMe6 You either have a more expensive card and are annoyed by the price for performance by the Gtx 560 Ti or have a GTX 560 and have a bottlenecked system.
not only that but they are working on a 22nm shrink of the 32nm sandy bridge code named the "ivy bridge"... Looks like your i7 2600k is already on the way out, and it just dropped! LOL
not only that but if you have a poor connection or interference from somewhere ( surging on your power / cable line ETC... ) you will not run it lag free even with the best system out there...
seriously i quit! i have looked at over a million reviews of people saying get this/get that...i just ordered the Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti, worse case scenario i'll SLi down the track.
@streetplayer1987 yeah alot of people are bitching that this card cant handle BF3, but I have a Zotac GTX 560Ti OC'ed to 900mhz and I , too , run it beautifully with minimal lag. These people have to understand that when you buy a great card, it doesn't just get you into the clear... They need a PSU that can power it PROPERLY... They need a CPU that won't bottleneck it... They need Memory that is fast enough to pace with the card when the card requests extra memory... THEY NEED TO KEEP IT COOL!!
@streetplayer1987 you can't max out the beta because the beta doesn't support dx11. you can change the settings but it doesn't change anything in the graphics. So, nobody knows if you can max it out with this card. (I hope so because I have the same ;))
Right now my comp is pretty up to date on everything except my graphics card which has been crippling for new games I was wondering if this thing will be able to run BF3 with good graphics?
@danielmadeirab 2x550ti is pretty much the ideal setup for maxing out any game at 1920x1080 (40-60fps) with no doubts whatsoever. single 560 ti falls a little short of doing that. I have a 560 Ti and i can't completely max out settings on a few of my games because the framerates drop during intense situations. From what i have heard, 2x560ti or 2x550ti is all you will need to play any game with maximum setting and good framerates at 1080p for the time being.
@Legomax18 So you think that if I buy one now and 560ti enough and buy a year from now is another really good ... I know for a tou 560ti more angry because it consumes far less power than the 550ti in sli.
help me I will buy the computer soon and I need to know what is the best I'll also buy a 550 i3 think is good? and do not have much money now ... so my budget may not pass the 730 euros if you get a cheaper configuration best I waiting for an opinion
@danielmadeirab an i3 550 will do. It will not affect the graphics, but in games like FSX and GTA IV, where there are hundreds of independent objects (cars, peds, objects far in distance) that need to be rendered and accounted for in the game, a dual core i3 is not be the best option. Bad Company 2 is one of the few CPU hogs currently out there, so if you plan on playing this game, i'd recommend a quad core CPU. an i5 2300 for example. its 35-70 euros more than the 550 though (worth it)
i5 2300 but you can not overclock and I wanted to do this because they have no i3 4cores but comes overclocked to 4.5
and that is much faster than the i5 since 2300 is the clock speed
@danielmadeirab It depends. you are right in that the 2300 is not OCable. Clock speed is generally more important for gaming but extra cores also helps in many some games (BFBC2 can actually utilize up to 8 threads). It just depends on what you will be doing with it. AMD is also an option if price is important. Phenom II 955BE is famous for being the sweet spot for gaming. for the same price as an i3 550 too.
my i7 2600K won't go over 70% in any game/scenario besides benchmarking.
@Legomax18 then in your opinion Phenom II 955BE and better than the i3-550? knowing that the i3 550 reaches 4.5 GHz and reaches PhenomII955BE 4.0gfhz I know the Phenom II 955BE has 4 colors is not it? and has as many threads?
@Legomax18 what do you think will be the difference of the i3-550 for the Phenom II 955BE? i3 not think would have more FPS? I wanted to by a processor that runs the bf bc2 no problems with lag since I already have a PC crush now wanted to invest in something really good to have moments of great fun. I am very grateful if you help me
@danielmadeirab It doesn't do as well in certain tests, but in many of the benchmarks, it does seem to be stronger than it for gaming by 2-10 extra frames, and of course overclocking and extra cores helps too.
i3 550 wasn't on the list, but heres a comparison of the 955 and the 540
plug this into anandtech's website /bench/Product/88?vs=143
@Legomax18 So I'm going to buy amd 955BE and a gtx 560ti how many fps do you think I have a bf bc 2? think I better play in full HD? will be that with two gtx550ti had more fps?
@danielmadeirab I am shocked at how well my 560ti does with BFBC2. I was disappointed with it on a few games, but it really seems like Dice worked hard to optimize this game for the PC. I am getting 40-60fps with every single setting including AA at full with full HD. only when theres a ton of explosions and effects dancing around does it start to dip into the 20-30 range. definitely not bad considering how hard maxing a game like this plus 32xAA should be on the card. i would highly recommend
@danielmadeirab a 570 would also be nice. for me, it was either an i5 2500k and a 570, or an i7 2600k and a 560. i am happy with my choice because the 560 can reach 570 performance with some heavy OCing.
Your other option (best, in my opinion) is to wait a few more months until the 6xx series comes out and grab the next gen 560ti (660?). it depends on how badly you need a new card. a few extra months with a 550 ti can't be so bad, right?
@danielmadeirab 2x 550ti would be just about as good as a 580. it will take up more power than a 560ti though. 2x560ti would be significantly better than a 580. I would get the 2x560ti's just so you have some breathing room. 2x550ti is good enough for any game today, but not necessarily anything a year from now. I'd recommend the MSi TFIII hawk edition of the 560 ti (stock 900mhz). i have the non-hawk TFII and i love it.
@Legomax18 hello friend I'll buy a 2500k and a gtx560ti but for these two things I have to opt for a cheaper motherboard and a cheap source of energy and think better than I can choose?
@danielmadeirab Good choices. when i'm buying motherboards, i always ask myself "which one does everything that i need it to do, and nothing that i don't need it to?" and it works out fine. but probably the #1 rule when building PC's is: Don't skimp on the power supply. it is imperative that you spend the extra money on a good, reliable PSU, because a cheap one can destroy your entire computer if something goes wrong. Antec, Seasonic, Corsair, Enermax, and XFX are the best choices.
@danielmadeirab It doesn't have to be an incredibly more expensive PSU even spending an extra 35 euros would help a lot, just scope out a good, reliable, affordable one. sometimes newegg and other sites have special deals on PSUs.
If I were thinking about building a new system (from scratch; my first gaming PC), would you also suggest I wait until the 6xx series of GeForce cards come out?
@LastHanyou Yes. It should be a very short wait until the new cards come out. most likely Q4 of 2011 and Q1 of 2012 at the most. Each card gen 'overlaps' the next level card of the previous gen. more or less, 560ti = 470, 570 = 480, 580 set the bar higher. so theoretically, a GTX 660 would perform like a GTX 570 and a 670 would perform like a 580, and a 680 would set the new bar. I'd definitely say it is worth the wait.
@Legomax18 the 600 series is not coming out for at LEAST 6 months, but I would go so far as to say it wont be on shelves and in PC's until around this time next year... Nvidia isn't sayin shit but you can tell they are biding time for this new stacking tech Intel and AMD are using on the CPU's, as port for their ( nvidia's ) GPU's... BTW for all i7 users , the sandy bridge is on the way out. The bulldozer platform by AMD has forced intel to begin design process on new 32nm cores for 2012/2013...
i've got an i5 with 4 x 3,3 Ghz and a nvidia gtx 560 ti and the game looks terrible on my pc because the anti aliasing doesnt work.do you know what i could do?
Yoyo i got the same setup but MSI cards both 1Ghz !! I went from 2 GTX480's at 800mhz both and the 560 ti cards are a lot faster on 1Ghz in Metro 2033 i see a 10fps increase!!!!
I think these cards pwn the shit out of everything because the shaders on 2Ghz are just pwnage performance!!! If 1GB iisnt enough thats only in metro 2033 with 4xAA because than you need 1900 mb on your videocards so thers no reason to go with 1280mb or 1536!!! thats why 1 GB is enough these days =)
WTF?? :D Cartridges ejecting to the left side?? These weapons are for left-handed soldiers who is shooting like right-handed?? :D It's not too much military game I think..
Do you think a Intel i5 2500k overclocked to 3.7 GHz will be fine to Battlefield 3 maxed out to.Around December I might overclock it even more though when I get my liquid cooling.
@rsmvhistory Hi there, yes it should run fine I've got my i5 2500k running at 4.2 Ghz at the moment (il step it up to 4.5 later on) air cooled at around 65c maxed out. If your planing on running it with water cooling you should get around the 5Ghz mark. Frames per second depend mostly on what GPU you have though, Im running a MSI GTX 560ti Twin Frozr II OC, that runs most games in the 60's. Not sure at max, max setting but at least 30+.
@xxbrkdwnxx the cpu and the 8 gb of ram has nothing to do with the graphics card. you buy those seperately for your motherboard. i wouldnt bother with the hex core because the new bulldozer cpu is coming out soon and if you are on a budget i would get 4 gb of ram but it wouldnt kill to get 8
@xxbrkdwnxx sorry i read that wrong. a hex core and 8 gb of ram with that card would be great... look up benchmarks that compare the performance of cpu's to aid your decision
@Germanyisthebest1 the gtx 560 ti is more then enough for BF3 ive seen videos with this graphics card and it did very well. high setting with 1080p an average 30-50 fps
Have you had any problems with this game crashing randomly and resulting in a flashing white screen? I have the same card, only it's an EVGA Superclocked version, and I get that problem pretty frequently, like maybe every hour or so.
i have a normal gtx 560 (i overclocked it slightly) the ti version wasn't available but i'm happy with the performance. its better then a 470 gtx and its quite cheap. it performs verry well on all my games. i came from a 9500gt so it's a huge improvement over that:p
@chrizmeister1992 thats the card i am thinking about buying the gigabyte GTX 560 O.C, so your happy with the card? and what games do you play and setting with your specs if you dont mind telling? :D
@112bhoy i'm very pleased (i have the msi version) farcry 2 runs everything maxed 8x aa at 1920x1080 on benchmark at 63 average and much more when it's just running; crysis i run at 1980x1080 most things on ultra and some on high and i think 2 or 4x aa. the fps maxed at the beach is about 55-60 en when in heavy combat with many units it never drops under 35. i'm very satisfied:) i would like a 590 but don't have the money for it so :D it run great. my previous gpu was a 9500 gt so huge leap:p
WHY THE FUCK DOES EVERYONE WANNA OVERCLOCK THE 560 DAMMIT? ITS GOOD ENOUGH AND OVERCOCKING SHORTENS THE LIFE BY LIKE 8 BILLION YEARS! Why? No point its already a great card. There is no benefit you might as well just throw your computer out the window. IMA OVARCLAWK MAH PROWCESSA AND MAH GRAWPHACS CARD CUZ I WANNA SHORTEN TEH RIFE BY 14 YURSZ! No point. I just dont see the..... point.
@Badreeddog because you get GTX570 performance for a much cheaper price? also as long as you keep the temps down youll still get 5-7 years out of your card and tbh 95% of gamers will have upgraded by then.
@ilija1239 I said that cuz you damn well know its PC good ass hole, and yet you want people to tell you it for some stupid reason. If you know so much why do you even ask? Plus by the way you type, its obvious that your not over 16, and don't know what sarcasm is. :P
LOL my GTS 450 SLI x2 PALITS platinum editions run 135FPS lols 1080P. 560 not a good card overpriced and one hell of a shity BIOS you need to unlock BIOS before you try your first game and seems you havent. Hey, a general question... I got a new rig with 560ti +2600k, the performance is outstanding O_o never below 60 fps (last pc had a pitiful 22fps)
Is the overclock a general setting? Will it kill my card faster than, say, a normal card? I'm reading 70C on GPU :)
Sorry about the paranoia, just blown away by the sheer force of this technical marvel :D

for everyone saying a 560 ti is good enough for bf3. you are wrong. BF3 maxes out at HIGH SETTINGS. NOT VERY HIGH, NOT ULTRA. so if u run the beta well on ultra well that means u can run it well at HIGH settings. not ultra or very high...

Anyone,
I'm thinking of updating my 275 GTX to a GTX 560 Ti, any suggestions on how well it could play Crysis 2/BF3, etc.
This is my set-up at the moment..

Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-MA790XT-UD4P
3328 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275

This comment has received too many negative votes show
well u cant max BF3 out with a shitty gtx 560 ti, not even with sli, SLI gtx 580 gives average 74fps,
all kids saying that they can max BF3 out with sli 560 or 570 are just dreaming, getting 100fps on evrything on ultra when u stand in tunnel is not max it out :P by the way u get 26 fps on ultra with 560 ti :P
GoJMe6 4 months ago
@GoJMe6 you lost your mind ?? ! I run BF 3 on ultra with my gigabyte gtx 560 ti and i get 45 -60 fps with a single card !! A sli gt 560 ti '(depends which model you have) performs better than a gtx 580 !

@streetplayer1987 NOpe im for real there is no way u get that on ultra on a map like caspian border with AA,
search "Grafikkort i Battlefield 3 Beta test" and press first link from sweclockers u gotto be dreaming

@streetplayer1987 too bad the battlefield 3 beta is maxed out at high settings. so if its maxed on ultra. its really maxed on high settings.....
TheBennyisCool 4 months ago
@streetplayer1987 playing at 720p I see...
I'm a proud owner of a 580, and I'm happy with the results of running somewhere between high and ultra with 4xAA @ 1080p for BF3. Of course it will run at full specs, but I don't want the framerate to drop to 20 or less when something important happens...
ThePwnageHobo 4 months ago
@ThePwnageHobo 560 SLI can max out bf3 for sure. Why are u demanding so much? Even 2 460 sli is hecka fast.

streetplayer1987 5 months ago
@streetplayer1987 yeah alot of people are bitching that this card cant handle BF3, but I have a Zotac GTX 560Ti OC'ed to 900mhz and I , too , run it beautifully with minimal lag. These people have to understand that when you buy a great card, it doesn't just get you into the clear... They need a PSU that can power it PROPERLY... They need a CPU that won't bottleneck it... They need Memory that is fast enough to pace with the card when the card requests extra memory... THEY NEED TO KEEP IT COOL!!
GodlessMartyr666 4 months ago
@streetplayer1987 you can't max out the beta because the beta doesn't support dx11. you can change the settings but it doesn't change anything in the graphics. So, nobody knows if you can max it out with this card. (I hope so because I have the same ;))

ths i3 isnt good enought for games? what is better one single 560ti or 2x550ti?
danielmadeirab 6 months ago
@danielmadeirab 2x550ti is pretty much the ideal setup for maxing out any game at 1920x1080 (40-60fps) with no doubts whatsoever. single 560 ti falls a little short of doing that. I have a 560 Ti and i can't completely max out settings on a few of my games because the framerates drop during intense situations. From what i have heard, 2x560ti or 2x550ti is all you will need to play any game with maximum setting and good framerates at 1080p for the time being.
Legomax18 5 months ago
@Legomax18 So you think that if I buy one now and 560ti enough and buy a year from now is another really good ... I know for a tou 560ti more angry because it consumes far less power than the 550ti in sli.
help me I will buy the computer soon and I need to know what is the best I'll also buy a 550 i3 think is good? and do not have much money now ... so my budget may not pass the 730 euros if you get a cheaper configuration best I waiting for an opinion
danielmadeirab 5 months ago
@danielmadeirab an i3 550 will do. It will not affect the graphics, but in games like FSX and GTA IV, where there are hundreds of independent objects (cars, peds, objects far in distance) that need to be rendered and accounted for in the game, a dual core i3 is not be the best option. Bad Company 2 is one of the few CPU hogs currently out there, so if you plan on playing this game, i'd recommend a quad core CPU. an i5 2300 for example. its 35-70 euros more than the 550 though (worth it)
Legomax18 5 months ago
i5 2300 but you can not overclock and I wanted to do this because they have no i3 4cores but comes overclocked to 4.5
and that is much faster than the i5 since 2300 is the clock speed
danielmadeirab 5 months ago
i5 2300 but you can not overclock and I wanted to do this because they have no i3 4cores but comes overclocked to 4.5

danielmadeirab 5 months ago
@danielmadeirab It depends. you are right in that the 2300 is not OCable. Clock speed is generally more important for gaming but extra cores also helps in many some games (BFBC2 can actually utilize up to 8 threads). It just depends on what you will be doing with it. AMD is also an option if price is important. Phenom II 955BE is famous for being the sweet spot for gaming. for the same price as an i3 550 too.
my i7 2600K won't go over 70% in any game/scenario besides benchmarking.
Legomax18 5 months ago
@Legomax18 then in your opinion Phenom II 955BE and better than the i3-550? knowing that the i3 550 reaches 4.5 GHz and reaches PhenomII955BE 4.0gfhz I know the Phenom II 955BE has 4 colors is not it? and has as many threads?
danielmadeirab 5 months ago
@Legomax18 what do you think will be the difference of the i3-550 for the Phenom II 955BE? i3 not think would have more FPS? I wanted to by a processor that runs the bf bc2 no problems with lag since I already have a PC crush now wanted to invest in something really good to have moments of great fun. I am very grateful if you help me
danielmadeirab 5 months ago
@danielmadeirab It doesn't do as well in certain tests, but in many of the benchmarks, it does seem to be stronger than it for gaming by 2-10 extra frames, and of course overclocking and extra cores helps too.
i3 550 wasn't on the list, but heres a comparison of the 955 and the 540
plug this into anandtech's website /bench/Product/88?vs=143
Legomax18 5 months ago
@Legomax18 So I'm going to buy amd 955BE and a gtx 560ti how many fps do you think I have a bf bc 2? think I better play in full HD? will be that with two gtx550ti had more fps?
danielmadeirab 5 months ago
@danielmadeirab I am shocked at how well my 560ti does with BFBC2. I was disappointed with it on a few games, but it really seems like Dice worked hard to optimize this game for the PC. I am getting 40-60fps with every single setting including AA at full with full HD. only when theres a ton of explosions and effects dancing around does it start to dip into the 20-30 range. definitely not bad considering how hard maxing a game like this plus 32xAA should be on the card. i would highly recommend
Legomax18 5 months ago
@danielmadeirab a 570 would also be nice. for me, it was either an i5 2500k and a 570, or an i7 2600k and a 560. i am happy with my choice because the 560 can reach 570 performance with some heavy OCing.
Your other option (best, in my opinion) is to wait a few more months until the 6xx series comes out and grab the next gen 560ti (660?). it depends on how badly you need a new card. a few extra months with a 550 ti can't be so bad, right?
Legomax18 5 months ago 7
@Legomax18
Now if I bought a 560ti or two gtx550ti what would be the best choice?
and then also I can now buy a 560ti and in a few months by another 560ti
danielmadeirab 5 months ago
@danielmadeirab 2x 550ti would be just about as good as a 580. it will take up more power than a 560ti though. 2x560ti would be significantly better than a 580. I would get the 2x560ti's just so you have some breathing room. 2x550ti is good enough for any game today, but not necessarily anything a year from now. I'd recommend the MSi TFIII hawk edition of the 560 ti (stock 900mhz). i have the non-hawk TFII and i love it.
Legomax18 5 months ago
@Legomax18 hello friend I'll buy a 2500k and a gtx560ti but for these two things I have to opt for a cheaper motherboard and a cheap source of energy and think better than I can choose?
danielmadeirab 5 months ago
@danielmadeirab Good choices. when i'm buying motherboards, i always ask myself "which one does everything that i need it to do, and nothing that i don't need it to?" and it works out fine. but probably the #1 rule when building PC's is: Don't skimp on the power supply. it is imperative that you spend the extra money on a good, reliable PSU, because a cheap one can destroy your entire computer if something goes wrong. Antec, Seasonic, Corsair, Enermax, and XFX are the best choices.
Legomax18 5 months ago
@danielmadeirab It doesn't have to be an incredibly more expensive PSU even spending an extra 35 euros would help a lot, just scope out a good, reliable, affordable one. sometimes newegg and other sites have special deals on PSUs.
Legomax18 5 months ago
@Legomax18
If I were thinking about building a new system (from scratch; my first gaming PC), would you also suggest I wait until the 6xx series of GeForce cards come out?
LastHanyou 5 months ago
@LastHanyou Yes. It should be a very short wait until the new cards come out. most likely Q4 of 2011 and Q1 of 2012 at the most. Each card gen 'overlaps' the next level card of the previous gen. more or less, 560ti = 470, 570 = 480, 580 set the bar higher. so theoretically, a GTX 660 would perform like a GTX 570 and a 670 would perform like a 580, and a 680 would set the new bar. I'd definitely say it is worth the wait.
Legomax18 5 months ago
@Legomax18 the 600 series is not coming out for at LEAST 6 months, but I would go so far as to say it wont be on shelves and in PC's until around this time next year... Nvidia isn't sayin shit but you can tell they are biding time for this new stacking tech Intel and AMD are using on the CPU's, as port for their ( nvidia's ) GPU's... BTW for all i7 users , the sandy bridge is on the way out. The bulldozer platform by AMD has forced intel to begin design process on new 32nm cores for 2012/2013...

@rsmvhistory Hi there, yes it should run fine I've got my i5 2500k running at 4.2 Ghz at the moment (il step it up to 4.5 later on) air cooled at around 65c maxed out. If your planing on running it with water cooling you should get around the 5Ghz mark.
