My initial post was in 'response' to somebody else. I know this is hardly the place to discuss political affairs but maybe you should have told that to the initial poster. Scottish use the Greath Highland Bagpipe or A' Phìob Mhòr this is the most famous Bagpipe, it looks bigger and sounds louder than the irish one.
Irish use Uilleann pipes or Union pipes these are smaller than the scottish pipes and sound more like a flute with a small bagpipe playing in the background.

The text in this clip encourages to ''keep listening!! what a song!!'' I have listened intently for 3 minutes and 58 seconds & did not hear a song at all. a song has lyrics (there were none here). What I did hear was a very good tune. This is a recurring theme throughout youtube postings where people refer to tunes as songs. A song is vocal a tune is not. Some of the best tunes ever written don't have lyrics. Very good tune though

Irish did not 'invent' the bagpipes.
Scottish use the Greath Highland Bagpipe or A' Phìob Mhòr this is the most famous Bagpipe, it looks bigger and sounds louder than the irish one.
Irish use Uilleann pipes or Union pipes these are smaller than the scottish pipes and sound more like a flute with a small bagpipe playing in the background.
basically Irish and Scottish pipes are very diffrent and noone 'invented' them, they have been around for thousands of years all around Europe and Asia.

In April 2007 I was dancing to this track for the stage show "Scotland The Brave" at the Aotea Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. I was on stage during this piece, the highlight of the show, and ruptured my Achilles tendon infront of a sold out crowd. This track will always mean something to me as it is the most inspirational music I have ever heard, and urged me to regain the strength back in my leg. I was able to dance in the second show in Wellington last year, and I hope Christchurch this year

The word Gael is the Anglicised version of Gaedheal (Scots Gaelic) which in turn is a Gaelic version of the Brythonic (Old Welsh) word Gwyddel. Gael means raider. As stated in the Declaration of Arbroath "The Britons they first drove out". Scots came to Ireland from Spain and then the Scots settled in Scotland. The "Irish" had that name forced upon them in the early 16th century by the Vatican.

Yes, but the British Scotland and Ireland aren't really all that Celtic; they just like to call themselves that. They have plenty of ancestry from the original Beaker people, the Germanic tribes (like the Angles and Saxons), Vikings, and Normans. It really gets me mad when I see Scots here on youtube thinking they have such a great "Celtic" heritage, and they purposely ignore anyone trying to correct them that they are not after all %100 Celtic, and that Scots isn't a race.
