I live only a couple miles away from the autobahn and I always check to see what going on there. I'm pretty sure that jermey clarkson, Richard Hammond, James may, or the stig would ever even set foot near Joliet/Elwood/Wilmington whatever you'd like to call our own little slice of he'll besides the few tracks around this place

I don't make those mistakes. Variables are considered between the Veyron and the Koenigsegg. I could buy two of them to one veyrom and still have money left over and still go just as fast and be as comfortable

Would argue the Veyron is easier to drive and more comfortable, but, don't think theres much in it.

Did the research. I found one here in America (and Fully Loaded) for just over a third of the price of the veyron, About $600,000 comfort is also arrangeable. the options list can have your upholstery in any configuration you want. Koenigsegg says that if you are going to spend alot for our cars then we can let you have the most out of our cars. Don't misunderstand. I love bugatti veyron I just think that there are other options besides that. By the way did you know that they made a 4door model?

The Galibier, yeah, looks pretty smooth.

Is $600K the RRP?, fair play, seems to be around half the price the Veryon.

But if you look in the CCX is has an Alpine headunit, you can get that from Halfords, the Veyron, has Magnesium indicator stalks think how much effort the rest of the interior gets?, Plus the Bug has VW's traction control, stability programs, EBD, 4WD etch, reckon its a more relaxing car to drive, still the the CCX though, such an animal.

I was witing for you to say that. It is an animal. I like that. The power is not sanitized or tamed. And it is also lighter than the veyron. All metal and carbon fiber. NO MAGNESIUM. I may be light but that's the reason there have been dozens of reports of R8s bursting in flames on the side of the road. Now I know I'm not the smartest guy, but why the hell do engineers think that it's cool to put magnesium in a car?

Seen who makes the wheels for the CCX?, a company called Dymag, carbon fiber rims with..........magnesium centers.

Mg is a very reactive metal, but its never used pure, generally speaking with Aluminium. Aston are reportedly working on Mg body panels lighter than Al and tougher than CF, but, corrosion is the big issue.

R8's and Gallardos seem to have a habit of combusting lately.....lame.

The CCX is kinda like the Caterham from hell...with a roof pannel.

No, the Caparo is an F1 car for the road, it has so much aero work on it its sick, thats the one think the CCX didn't have, till TG got them to fix it and put a spoiler on it.

I stand by my comment, the caterham is a very simple concept, and so is the CCX, its not bogged down by a huge amount of tech, and its all the better for it, scary, but better, and the Atom isn't a kit car.

I guess you're right about the atom, and it only took 7 employees to build. I also understand now how you were comparing the CCX and the Caterham even though you said it was from Hell. The Capiro is another issue. Ti caught fire on ALL the test drives and almost did in Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey UK when featured in Top gear. Im sorry if the only reason a car exists is to look cool fast and then catch fire then... It's homicidal.

If you knew about half of the work the British Hams Hall BMW plant engineers have done for BMW worldwide, you would appreciate why German cars ( BMW's at any rate ) have that good reputation. Then again if you heard half the horror stories of what goes on in their Munich factory - maybe you wouldn't ! They make a very good car - but so do a load of other companies. You get good and bad from them all.
