  • I like the unis the Jets wore back then.

  • what a shitty game. They were going on strike-who gives a shit?

  • do you have the jets vs dolphins game where marino and o'brien threw for like almost 900 yrds? i think it was 1986 or 1987.

  • Thats great (2:40)! I remember, and miss, when regular fans could get great seats! Why people give these corporations (teams) their money anymore makes me laugh!

  • @Yoseman1 LOL They had great seats because the Jets sucked at the time. Look at all the empty seats...

  • @battleax86

You should really know some facts before typing, as you now look like a fool. This was the END of a blowout, and the last game before the strike.

  • @Yoseman1 haha yeah, I'm somehow a fool because I don't know every detail of the 1987 season...like I give a shit. Sorry that you got butt-hurt about my joking around at the expense of the Cessnas. But since you like facts, here's one: 1987 was the first of 10 straight seasons where the Jets either had a losing record or were 8-8...so yeah, they did suck at the time.

  • @battleax86

Right genius, the FIRST. The year before, they were a playoff team. This team was excellent as well, but got derailed by the strike. Point was, corporations don't allow average fans to have a proper seat anyone. Lets face it, corporations don't allow average people to have much anymore...

  • @Yoseman1 OK, I'm gonna throw the bullshit flag on that. I've been to quite a few NFL games and I've always gotten pretty good seats. No, they're not as cheap as the nosebleed end zone seats, but they're not so expensive that only corporations can afford them. Besides, most corporations don't care about seats right on the action. They prefer the private boxes where they can avoid the weather and have more comfortable accomodations.

The Jets regulars were 5-7 in 1987...face it, they sucked.

  • @battleax86

That's just wrong. Sure, anyone with a job can spend the money and buy a ticket to a game. But with the creation of the PSL, and the ridiculous prices per game, the NFL, MLB, NBA, etc., has insured that no regular person can have good seats to these games anymore. Only corporations, brokers, and wealthy people (not just rich, but wealthy) can afford them now, and they are not fans...

  • @Yoseman1 Sorry, but you're the one who's wrong. First of all, only a handful of teams in each league have PSLs. Secondly, they're not all that expensive. I know plenty of regular people (who aren't wealthy by any means) who have gotten excellent seats right on the action. Like I said, most of the "corporations, brokers, and wealthy people" who go to such games prefer to sit in the private boxes where they have much nicer accommodations and don't have to deal with the weather or regular fans.

  • @battleax86

Really? Care to tell me who these teams are? Because I know they are not in NY, Chi, Boston, or LA. If you say Kansas City, Pittsburgh, or anything similar, my response is "who cares". I'm only interested in civilized places.

  • @Yoseman1 Buffalo, Miami, New England, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Oakland, San Diego, Washington, Detroit, Green Bay, Minnesota, Atlanta, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Arizona, and San Francisco are all NFL teams without PSLs. And none of the Boston NBA, NHL, or MLB teams have them either...so you're full of shit. And if any of these are places you don't consider civilized, then you're a typical East Coast douchebag that the rest of the country can't stand.

  • @battleax86

As advertised. And as I said, "who cares".

  • @Yoseman1 Obviously you do because you're the one who started bitching about PSLs to begin with...

  • Mickey Shuler who played with the Jets then has a son named Mickey Jr. who plays up at Penn State.

  • BLUE helmets??
