(Templebar mid 90s) and it was filthy and Irish people are deluded enough to think that they're party animals, Truth is that they are way too loud and the accent is annnoying.Ireland adds nothing to the world imho. The highlight of my trip was a visit to the Kitchen nightclub (owned by Bono at the time?), fucking a damn ugly hooker and throwing a kebab into the River Liffey. As a Scot you dont have to mention the England thing.

This band was a big influence on my life, especially "Gotta Get Away" and "Tin Soldier" that summed up my life, "Barbed Wire Love", "Johnny Was" all lyrics had relevance.

i've grown up a punk all my life and have taken great pride in the fact that the punk brought to the masses in 1976 was taken for real by so many (except undertones n a few others) but and the uk bands from 1980 onwards (exploited, gbh, subhumans, peter n testubes) created the greatest subculture movement of all time, its stll there all over the world n actually growing, SLF are one of the most unique n best, long live punk its here forever
