I must agree that roller figure skating is a lot harder then ice.....except the for the cold wet floor. our skate weigh about 6 pounds, we have aaaa lot more edges and we jump and spin combo way more. I must say that ice is quiet though our wheels do make to much noise, but figure skating no matter which you do is hard work and I consider it an extreme sport no matter how beautiful it may be. We all take hard falls from the air.

I must disagree, The sport depends on the person. Some may think figure skating is hard and roller skating is easy. There are different moves and skills to each sport. So they are really equal- not easier or harder. (and have you ever stabbed yourself with a wheel.. nah but a blade...many people have.)

skating is so much harder for crying out loud u get four wheels and a floor. we have ice and blades! OH! and the ice gets rough so bad sometimes u fall and get cut! and its freezing!

@loveturtlez ohhh for crying out loud why dont you try doin it and doin trills with those heavy skates than see wat u think about it so dont say anythinng unless youve tryied trilling in the air with those skates
