  • I've had tons of success with Queek, with a retinue of 40-45 upgraded stormvermin in a horde, 2 Abominations and 3-4 big units of clanrats with mortar teams. low model count, and a pretty powerfull list. you just gotta have magic defense!

  • pleg?

  • If anyone's interested in 40k, I recently heard from a guy working at GW that It's a toss up now between an update for Tau or Necrons by the end of this year.

  • Dem plegg monks :/

  • What figures do you use to create the Verman Lord?

  • ok so i was with you till about half way through. then i had to wonder if your reading the same army book I am.

as far as it goes, giant rats at 3 points VS slaves at 3 with spear/shield. the rats loose allot more unless placed with skweel as there pack master. also "if your doing a standard skaven army you gotta have the screaming bell" is plain bad advice, point for point the plague furnace has allot more versatility and stopping power. the bell is only adding a 4+ ward save

  • PLAGUUUUUUUUUUU

  • what about rat ogres and warp lightning cannons??

  • Im looking forward to the new box set of WHFB as it looks like it will be Skaven and High Elves- perfect time to start that Skaven army ive been putting off for 15 years!

  • Shawn and the gang traveling across the country making fun of the many accents out there? Sounds like an adventure to me.

  • I play orcs n goblins and for me the hellpit is just the hardest thing to deal with! 6 wounds with regen and when it dies it can revive or have units spawn!! And with those crazy attacks it's just suiccide to get in close combat with it.

For the doomwheel you just need to pull op the charge with a big unit and win with combat res, so he flees. Beat 2 of them in last game.

But the hellpit, damn! I just don't know what to do against it.

  • left out the engineers =( best spec ever... nm the "pleg" monks

  • hey shawn do u know about the new warhammer that games workshop has released ?

  • Just two builds?

What about Skrye (forget spelling) armies? That was one of the more popular armies last edition, and it is still very strong.

  • thanks shawn its help me a lot

  • Hey Shawn! do you know if GW is redoing the necron Army? or if theyre coming out with a different "redone" army?

  • @EmperorSHammr probably not, the next army that is supposedly going to be redone is dark eldar

  • @EmperorSHammr There were a lot of rumors about Necrons for a while, but it doesn't look like they're getting redone this year.

  • @bluetablepainting well darn it! i really like the necrons but i dont want to get an army then have GW completely redo it...

  • @bluetablepainting Do you know if they are going to update Lizardmen? Or Tomb Kings? They seem to leave these behind all the time. Probably not as popular as other armies?

  • thanks for the vid it just so hapens i have just recently benn deciding between skaven and ogres. this may make my decision much more easy

  • i only recently got my first pp models (and paints) they are also my first metal models!!!! i love p3 paints they are AMAZING i also love the amazing sculpts (in my opinions) i currently have 2 pyg bushwackers. I started small to see if I like the sculpts and how they looked.I LOVE THE MODELS!

  • dwarfs+guard+marines= squats.....EPIC

  • If only there where 40k Skaven, Rats+Guns= EPIC

  • @sargentnoob we call that army, the imperial guard

  • @didimau108 No I just mean rats with guns not how they play.

  • @sargentnoob he wasn't talking about the style...

  • Stormvermin based army, they are lower priced then most normal and count as core choice. Plus their armour makes them look like samurai! And assassins are awesome, especially Snitkch.

  • @csmigs87 With the rumoured changes to 8th edition, a Stormvermin based army will be very viable thanks to their high init and halberds. They'll be one of the few units to survive a High Elf block with ASF and rerolls and be more than ready to deal back the pain.

  • @cheung1457 I just think they would be a better base core unit then the clanrats. They are still cheap, and seem to be much more versitile then the clanrats. All around favorite skaven unit in the game.

  • Lord Skrolk is awesome - but overpriced - and the double plague furnace and double plague monk unit will be hard to play - In 7th, these blocks are relatively easy to avoid or lead astray due to frenzy.

Giant Rats are money. Jezzails, Globadiers, and Nightrunners suck.

"Assassins are good" - WHOA- you are in a universe of one.

I agree with below - I'd wait to see what 8th edition looks like.

  • plegg haha keep it up guys ;)

  • BTP VIDS <3

  • hmmm...I dont see the point of talking tactics (or buying an enitre new army with said tactics in mind) when 8th edition is right around the corner. If i was in your position i would advise client's not to order until 8th edition released.

  • I always hated skaven, but they are one hell of an army :) really strong

  • Im still hoping to see the skaven bunny army!

  • It's okay i don't care :) Besides its alot better than saying random letters like : pffddh
