Why are you people talking like this bastard is some fond memory from your youth? Did you forget what he did to the people who made him rich? He owned a ton of Kroger stores and the employees had a contract for a decent wage, not great but enough to get by. Ol' Al here decides he'd rather put more of the money in his pocket so he closed 'em all, reopened 'em as "Kessell" stores. Despite the fact that he was still selling Kroger brand items he tore up the contract and paid slave wages.
