I've been to the countryside of Montana and the place is so pristine, it's like heaven.

The people on the other hand, err, we have a few African American friends with us and being greeted by a local with the words, "We don't get many black folks around here," and then overhear them talking about their belief in their "Biblical Values" just makes you feel sad that such a fantastic place was given to these folks.

I wouldn't be surprised if the whole episode doesn't even show a hint of diversity.

yeah that suks. I would like to travel somewere but i would imagine that as soon as im in another culture i would become the oddball because im so different from everyone ther. I whant to go to japan, but im hispanic, you never see a hispanic person over there!

You'd be fine dude, Japan is a major business hub. People from all over the world travel there daily. I've seen arabic, chinese, russian, hispanic, australian, etc etc.

Montana is beautiful but you are right there is little diversity there. I grew up there & everyone was pretty much white. I'm glad I moved to Seattle then the Bay Area & my children grew up with diversity. It's wonderful.
