Fish probably not the best idea. Stick with mealworms and crickets. If you want to mix it up, go for the can o' silkworms or can o' grasshoppers they sell canned at pet stores. Theyre normally marketed for reptiles. Chicken babyfood is good too. A high protein (40-50% protein) cat/dog food like Evo or Core Wellness are good too, but only up to 5 kibbles a day each since too much can give them problems.
can you feed gliders pineapple? i buy my boys fresh cut fruit salad from the grocery and i feed them everything but the pineapple. im skeptical cause pineapples seem like they would upset the gliders stomachs
I have three cages. 8, 5 and then 4. All have been given to me, I did not pay a dime for any one of them, but I did drive some distance for a few of them and I have paid a lot for caging, neutering and general care.
My cage of 8 is from the mom and dad in the cage. So yes to the same bloodline.
Neutering can be very expensive around the country for no real reason. Dallas used to have a place that did a great job at $35 and recently they started charging $55.
Neutering boys doesnt change them much but it does seem to remove them a bit from mating angst and marking and their scent glands shrink up. It helps the boys to get along with each other.
so cute! I only have two suggies haha. I would love to have a HUGE colony of gliders, im going to let my two breed once there old enough and im going to try to get some more suggies.
wow! I guess ur suggies realy like apple sauce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......... nice vid ssssssssssssssssssssuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ggggggggggggggggggggggglllllllllllllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddddddddddddddddddddddeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
Four females and four males, all a genetic family. All the boys are neutered. I might have grown it another litter larger if I had a larger cage at the time. The colony is the best way to experience sugar gliders.
Big eaters!

Pretty sure I just watched a video from a vet that listed tons of things not to feed them, pretty sure everything on that plate is on that list lol.

For 8, no. They will have emptied the bowl and licked it clean and then filled it with poop before the morning comes.
