  • I have picop already and works great using my windows phone only thing i trying figure out is how do i hear sound if I am watching a video???? seems like it only projects but what about the sound?

  • I'm extremely disappointed that this product isn't in production. They pretending to take your email address on their site in order for you to get info on this vapoware product. Why? To turn you into figures so that they can sell the technolgy to mobile phone companies. I'm jus wondering if they are also selling on your email addresses. Optoma Pico Pocket Projectors are available for purchase now.

  • "very easily, in a much darker home environment"

    .. really now

  • I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT MICROVISION WILL NOT SELL YOU A PROJECTOR - Nowhere on their website to buy it or get pricing or find vendors who sell it, then I write to them and ask why not or for details and they give a vague answer about when it's ready, no ETA, no nothing.

Why is this Channel wasting our time with a product the manufacturer refuses to sell?

  • This thing is total vaporware. It looks like a great product, but they've been showing off working prototypes for 2 years now and you still can't buy it anywhere.

  • Maybe the new projector phones killed it.

And vaporware only exists on paper.

  • @myteewhytee just bought one

  • @counterbond So is it as good as it seems in the demo?

And of course I wrote that comment 5 months ago when you couldn't find them anywhere and there was no launch date.

  • @Consumerman007 Thats funny. i just bought one lol

  • i am buying this...any price...u want 100 thats great...1000 idc

  • what is the model of this microvision pico?

can anyone tell the difference between this and the bonitor mp201 and mp301?

  • hey i need how much. will buy. it would be nice to have a micro verzion of my vlp.15 sony projector. i know that thing is a beast.

  • Anyone know how long the battery and lamp for this will last?

  • about 2 hrs

  • 2.5 hrs and 3 years at least, i bet.

  • he says beyond like byooond

  • Change your film speed!

  • those lasers will eat up the battery in less than 25 minutes

  • lol

  • can you buy this yet?

  • this would be perfect for replacing traditional projectors. Either ramp up the unit's resolution, or chain together 4 of them to project a single higher resolution image.

also i'd like them to increase the laser power so it's able to go brighter. Laser projectors like this should be the brightest projectors in existance, each pixel should be at least as powerful as a laser pointer spot - why not?

  • Jerks would blind people. They said that in another video.

  • why are there black lines? its not a crt :S

  • It works just like a CRT but shoots out photons and not electrons...

  • will both of you just listen to what the guy says @ 1:30 and beyond...

those lines are made by the camera, because the projector and camera have different images per seccond rates.

E.G. when the projector projects images @ 60 Hz (60 frames per second) and the camera captures the images @ 25 Hz, then the camera will have some point, where it is not fast enough to capture all images. that's why black lines show up.

  • I said photons, not protons.

  • crt use magnets to bend the rays but the laser rays cant be bent but the mirrors tilt the rays. so the concept is a bit different.

  • gravity can bend light rays

  • Very true. That would be like switching a microscopic black holes or higgs boson on and off to control the rays. A very extreme enginerring would be required.

  • lol i cant wait until we have that kinda technology

  • mobile cinema , woot!

  • Excepts by huge speakers, but i still want one :D

  • Excepts by huge speakers, but i still want one :D

    (reply to lard444 doesnt work)

  • DO WANT!

  • nice!

  • nice!
