I was in the Navy and stationed in England in the mid 70's. I remember when this was out and thought how odd. Top 40 radio was much different there than it was in America.
Oliver was quite the legitimate tenor; Stan certainly had a more than passable baritone out of the British Music Hall tradition; whenever I see this I'm genuinely surprised that they didn't do more singing in their films.
