@taquanrocks because it-s not an SL 65 AMG, it is an SL 55 AMG or an SL 63 AMG. In that model the most powerful was the SL 63. There is a SL65 version but its not AMG, its BRABUS..... SL65 BRABUS

The old SL65 used to be a V8, the only V12 of this model was the SL73.

@StuRaz not true. the SL65 r230 gen did used a biturbo V12 the same as the SL600 but with different rating. SL600 was around 495hp (the same as the SL55´s V8), and the SL65 was more than 600hp. what your seeing(hearing) here is an SL55 r230 because its clearly a V8. The SL73 was from the previous r129 gen, pretty rare by the way.
