Kraus era un tenore con gli attributi!! Tecnica impeccabile, controllo del fiato perfetto. Pavarotti, nonostante la sua grandezza e fama, non è assolutamente da paragonare a Kraus come molti, erratamente, fanno!

Nel ruolo del Duca era perfetto e anche Bergonzi sapeva il fatto suo. Due Grandi Tenori del '900 che hanno speso la loro vita diffondendo Opera vera!

Carlo Bergonzi ist seit Caruso der einzigartigste Tenor. Unglaublich, wie er Verdi singt! Die anderen guten "drei Tenöre" kommen bei weitem nicht an ihn heran.

@Cesconegre : che questi due tenori / baritoni si sarebbero benissimo potuti scambiare le parti senza troppi problemi è un dato di fatto, visto che D. F. Dieskau aveva il si bemolle e che C. Bergonzi aveva debuttato come baritono verso la fine degli anni '40.

perche' deve modificare tutte le vocali la A in O ecct.esempio questa o quellaoo..un'altra in un'altraoo.probabilmente senza queste modifiche non riuscirebbe a fare le note con i suoni appropriati...

Thanks for posting this excellent, hgh-quality recording of Bergonzi. It is a fine example of his perfectly produced Italian diction and consummate vocal artistry.

He was an intelligent singer.

Mr. Corelli lacked softness, Mr. Bergonzi lacked power. Our view is subjective.

It's always interesting to share experiences of emotions.

Monaco lacked softness completely, Corelli had beautiful mezza voce and dynamic controll over his voice, even if it was more on the dramatic side.

But I agree with your point; every singer has their strong contra weak points. Which ones that you find pleasing is a matter of personal taste.

If Bergonzi were a baseball player, he'd be hitting around 30 to 40 homeruns a year. The power was there. I sat in the Family Circle of the Old Met and hearing him was easy, without microphones.

@ceccherecchi . Il mio non è certo un giudizio definitivo. Quando dico che è impossibile cantarlo meglio non voglio dire che non ci sono stati altri tenori vicini o ( in pochi) allo stesso livello di Bergonzi, voglio semplicemente dire che non ne ho trovato di migliori. Per quanto riguarda Filippeschi, indubbiamente una grande voce, mi documenterò meglio sul suo Rigoletto. Un saluto dalla Romagna.

Bello! Eccellente Bergonzi!!! Questa è forse la miglior versione del Rigoletto, ma vale sempre la pena di ascoltare anche tenori come Kraus e Pavarotti, grandissimi nel ruolo del Duca.
