I seen her singing in Athens in late 60's on vacation. Maria Farantouri still has that "one of a kind" quality that makes you feel the song even if it is not in your own language. After all these years and she still sounds as good as she did 40 years ago. God blessed her with a beautiful voice!

How glorious! I found her searching different versions of Theodorakis' Agapi Mou from Phaedra. One of the most exquisite voices I've heard. Her sound is haunting antiquity. Thank you for sharing this.
