i train bjj, kickboxing, wrestling, and krav maga. id just kick his ass in the nuts i really dont care if its a "bitch" move or not, a street fight is a street fight and you fight to WIN.
If you are in a street fight, then yes, you should do whatever is necessary to protect yourself. Personally, I would feel much better about the outcome though if I actually used my training.
@ofomatheblackbelt most of the time no. ur just fighting to keep from getting ur ass beat. if ur being robbed or somthing then yea ur life but other than that its just to avoid an ass whoopin...or in other words win.
it's no good showing a street application as a demo, if its not a real street fight. Granted, some martial artists get caught on filme, coz they're pratting about with mates, someones filming it, then a fight breaks out and they film that instead. BUT this isn't real street fight because how many people film they're friends going upstairs, watch them get attacked, and still carry on filming. It's a demo

Yes, there's a lot of stuff you can't do in the UFC ring that you would be able to do on the street or like in this video. UFC is still considered a sporting event. I was mainly referring to a video like this one here which is full of shit. The attacker would have never gone down like that in a real scenario. Oh and by the way, English is not my native language dickface. Go back to playing rugby you fag because you obviously know little about real world fighting.
There is stuff you can't do in the UFC NOW. When Royce fought there was 2 things, and people did them to him anyways.
If you put him and any of the guys he beat in an alley, I would bet on him. He also won challenge matches where anything unarmed was allowed.
As for that takedown, pulling someone down like that won't work on it's own. But if you knew what the hell you where looking at, you'd notice that he took the guys balance first. Which does work in hockey, rugby, and "real" fights.
Yes it did have rules you moron. It is a superficial move and you're just a naive idiot to think this would work in a real life situation. Dream on fag.
And what magical property of "real life" makes kicking someones leg out from under them and then pulling them in the opposite direction while they are standing on one leg not work?
Is there some mystical quality of trained judoka that makes them easier to takedown than random drunken assholes?
@MachineFILTHY why don't you found out the rules instead of making assumptions to attempt to validate your claims. chop blocks are in no way shape or form illegal in UFC. however if they were as effective as believed im sure you'd see more videos of sparring, kickboxing, karate, and MMA matches in which they are used.
@beermetalhell It's very easy to take down a man twice your size. No matter how much you don't want to believe it. using leverage and throwing off balance works.
muggings usually involves a weapon of some sort.
odekeye 5 months ago
@odekeye not always - there is something called strong armed robbery. its very common. especially around college campuses.

thejijjic 1 year ago
@thejijjic That's not true at all. There's tons of footage of security cameras where it's just one guy robbing someone else. It's all circumstantial.

@thejijjic Man if one guy mugs me he'd get like 5quid........how do you divvy that up three or four ways?
Rapist87 7 months ago
I'm going to explain why this video is racist.
Blondes are always robbed...that's a fact.
By putting a blonde person in it you're clearly stating that you enjoy watching blondes getting robbed/mugged...so ergo it is racist.
Also it is racist against jackets...nothing wrong with a good looking jacket.
There...it's settled.
GalryZ 2 years ago
@GalryZ :D When is this world going to finally realize that its not ok to abuse jackets like that? I'm so tired of wardrobe intolerance!

Royce Gracie fought in sport events where there are rules.
beermetalhell 3 years ago
Oh you mean the no eye gouging or biting rules that his bigger TRAINED opponents broke on multiple occasions?
Or did you mean the fights in random basements and other peoples dojos?
Also, try using a dictionary before picking which adjectives you use to denigrate something next time.

JustaEropeanGuy 3 years ago
actually it's only rules were no eye gouging and no groin hits but pretty much it was more like an honorable street fight
badfoody 2 years ago
NO groin shots WERE alowed for the firs and maby second UFC! No eye gouging was the only rule.
JustaEropeanGuy 2 years ago
really? wow that must have been awesome
badfoody 2 years ago
Lol everyone in UFC blocks like a boxer. I've never seen anyone use a chop block in UFC so I'm pretty sure they're also against the rules.
MachineFILTHY 2 years ago
Nope...they're legal...just relatively difficult to pull off.
