The original Tetris is almost exactly as the most recent Tetrises, which shows just how timeless the original was. I would say that the only major addition to the game was hard-dropping.
I play Tetris on my DS regularly, trying to beat the level 5 computers. :D When I'm really warmed up, I can play at three moves per second. I played a LOOOT of Tetris, so I give my utmost respect to this man.
