I am a huge fan of Boston, Brad Delp is one of my all time favorite singers and, A man I'll never be, is by far my favorite song. I have spent many a time laying down, a pair of Boston Acoustics headphones on, all the lights turned off and I obsorbed every bit of nuances in this song. You have done Brad a great service and honor. I always thought that this song without the guitar riffs would suck. You have soooo changed my thought on that. You should be proud.
One thing I'd like to point out is the lyrics...people associate this somehow with Brad's suicide/psyche. The truth is this song was written by Tom, it's more about someone wanting to change you and the struggle that can cause in a relationship. Remember the "I'll in 'the man I'll never be' is Tom imagining what someohne else is thinking. Well, Brad was amazing, and so was Boston in this period, so creative.

Awesome. Well-produced. I would uncompress the vocal a little and add a tiny bit of reverb, but you absolutely knocked it out of the park. Rock on, dude.
