  • pewnie ma problemy z kręgosłupem ;] mój koń zachowywał sie podobnie i okazało sie ze uwiera go siodło ;]

  • The only thing I have to say about this is that at 6 yrs old this guy should certainly NOT be bucking, and it is more of an indication of poor training than poor riding.

  • @ravenwingone what does age have to do with it? I know 3 year old horses that buck and 18 year old horses that buck.

  • @fortheloveofsimon, any horse can buck for a variety of reasons. However this guy at six years old is bucking just to be obnoxious. It is not safe for the rider or the horse to allow this disrespectful behavior, and any good trainer will tell you so. A well trained horse is not likely to buck for no good reason; so it is obvious this guy has had poor training (or his good training has been ruined by bad mannered riders).

  • @ravenwingone gotcha! and I agree. Also, I don't know anything about pony clubs, but isn't it sort of ignorant not to allow someone to lunge their horse? If I don't lunge my horse before riding him, I'm asking for a rough ride.

  • @fortheloveofsimon And if you don't want people who know what they are talking about to critique your horse or your riding then don't post videos showing bad behavior.

  • your horse say: yeehaw!

  • she did well 2 stay on so everyone can stop being so critical

  • Everyone being so critical about her riding is crazy....I think you did a fantastic job to stay on and to keep her going!! I can understand having a "no longing" rule you wouldn't want anyone getting injured...no way to know if someone has proper training or not unless they have some sort of certification.

  • If you're not in possession of the "required certificates" to be able to longe a horse, you have NO BUSINESS BEING ON THIS ONE!!! You don't have the skills. And you're damned lucky he didn't hurt you.

  • Whenever a horse I'm riding does this, my teacher always tells me to turn him immediately in a tight circle. If he doesn't go a direction I want him to, I turn him in circles to the right. Bucking, rearing, not listening, whatever the case, turning him in a circle always helps...for me anyway!

  • All he did is crow hope, spur him in the neck.

  • @java8515 u should never spur them in the neck!

  • way to ride! good balance. I did just learn a ton on saddle fit and there is so much we sometimes are unaware of in terms of issues in a horses back so i am curious if that may be going on. Or maybe its just behavioural.

  • My mare does the exact same thing!!!! Wen I ask her to either walk, trot, or canter she bucks! And there is nothing physically rong with her! So I'm not the only one!!! So happy :):):)

  • Thumbs up for staying in the saddle!! Good job! =)

  • let me guess...........you used splice to make this, right? haha i use it for a lot of my vids!!!!!

  • You handled him with extreme gentleness and patience AND YOUR RIDING WAS GOOD!!! Only thing I wonder about is if your stirrups were a tad shorter ?? That fact that you stayed on him when your legs were so long that you could not brace, shows that you ARE a good rider. :o)

  • haha well done staying on. I wouldn't have lasted that long!!

  • They don´t do that because he didn´t get ridden for three weeks. Look at the saddle's place.. It´s wrong.. so Take a look at that next time you tack him up..

  • @Heenrikssoon No, they definitely do that when they haven't been ridden in ages. Not all of them, I know. But, there are plenty that do. My mare included. I'm in for a fun ride when I get back out to the barn since I've been sick for a week.

  • hahahahaahahahaha i love it when they do that!

  • you handled that very well in my opinion, lots of other riders would have lost they're cool and it would have been a lot worse !! Good job !

  • the horse has a sore back they don't buck for no reason :(

  • @mykidlets- Actually they do for example my horse Ranger bucked me off, But he was new it doesn't mean they are sore or hurt! Not to b mean but just sayin'!!!

  • @mykidlets That's not for no reason. He's frisky from not being worked.

  • I'm not being mean but the only reason he was bucking is cuz the saddle pad and the girl was sitting way to close to the withers and was hurting the horse it was a clear message

  • dang good balance i would have been off when u were about to fall!!!

  • Lol, Good job stayin on

  • Haha well sat!!!

  • Great job staying on! I would have eaten the dirt LOL Great job!

  • @ImTheCrazyLady Samee !xx

  • they amost that he is bucking isnt normal IF he is green

  • lunge him first, get all that piss and vinager out of him ; )

  • You can hark on all ye want that its not lame, but id atleast get his back checked! im not trying to be nasty hun, just sayin, thats not right, even for a Green pony. Dont wanna regret not getting it checked 12 month down the line when the pony has to be retired! sorry to sound like a hater!

  • this is not crit but when a horse is like that u r suposed to kick them foward because it is harder for the to be doing that when they have to think about something else well done on staying on good seat

  • Well sat! You have a good seat ( and that horse doesn't look lame, i don't know what people are on about!) :)

  • I give you kudos for staying on.. and your riding english! I ride both english and western, and an english saddle by no means is NOT easy to stay in while a horse is buckingXD

  • hehehe funny little gelding he doesn't understand anymore that kick means go XD

  • I saw that coming! :D LOL

  • ur a really good rider but just to help u....in a good way......try to keep ur hands down i know it's hard when they do tht cause my pony is always doing tht just the same and she plunges and stuff xxx:D

  • Woah! Nice seat! I rode a horse that hadn't been ridden in 4 years! She wasn't too bad but was a bit of an arse! Aren't they all lol!

  • your friends horse is a ballerina lol o my:)

  • YOU CAN REALLY STAY ON

  • lame horse

  • @penner264 never knew lame horses cud buck !

  • good seat! not trying to crit. but maybe if you are too young to lunge on your own ask an adult? just saying cus they were pretty impressive bucks!!!

  • LOVE the still shots! My little guy is like that after time off too.

  • Das pferd hat 100 pro schmerzen!

  • Very well done! And to think I'm going to be leasing a horse that hasn't been ridden in two years....fun!

  • ur right that is some epic bucking :)

  • grear reactions! but wasn't there a problem with the saddle or something like that, because that isn't normal, one time it could be a problem with depends on no Riding for 3 weeks..but so often? :O

  • im not saying u cant ride and im not critting but dont u think its a bit stipid to get on a horse if it hasnt been ridden in three weeks? not think of lunging or letting loose the dayu before/before u ride? just saying like cuz they r pretty big bucks!

  • @punchjumper3744- well, why would u let it be cooped up even more...

  • @punchjumper3744 What are people supposed to do if there horse hasn't been ridden in a while and they have nowhere to lunge? Ok this is in a school but sometimes it is necessary to just get on the horse and deal with it.

  • Good riding. Helmet - quiet hands and legs, good balance no untoward jerking reaction well done

  • I'll tell you this much, first off, Standardbreds I wouldn't say are the sharpest crayons in the box. Second, three weeks without being ridden would make any horse bonkers. Everyone has their reasons that their horse doesn't get out, that happens. That horse can BUCK, for one, but I can't help but feel like maybe the saddle doesn't fit properly? I could be wrong, but that didn't look like "Yippee" bucks as much as it did "Owie" bucks. Maybe check into it, again I could be wrong.

  • LOL I'm pretty sure she didn;t ask for an online riding lesson. Cutee horse, quite a character =)

  • Damn! You're big enough for the horse to ride you!

  • aww such cute little bucks, what would help is you let your reins go a TINY bit when he bucks and kicks him forward, its 10x harder to buck when your moving

  • Well sat!LOL X

  • lean back when bucks and lean forward when rears it helped me when my horse did it. also if he doing something diffrent he never did check if somethig wrong. try a diffrent saddle with deeper seat

  • That's so dangerous. Not an adequate horse for pony club. Obviously you're supposed to have a 34 year old quarter horse.

  • There is a gelding at our barn that does this! He's been checked by chiro, vets, and rehab specialists. He's just a jerk! lol

  • heres a nasty comment for you, mwhahahhahahahahhahaha you're a loser

  • @giiiibby We ALL know you are!

  • -Nasty Commet- Am I going to Jail? :O

  • @TheNormanChannel No, but you should.

  • This horse has somethin wrong with its back!!! It's not hyperactive you idiots!!! There must be a vertebra out or something. It's not even moving arround on any type of a contact at all. Get an osteo out and have a look at it

  • Dont u mean 8 year old :p jk (:

  • should have bopped him in the mouth. You did not show any authority here, you just let him do his own thing....sigh...

  • @caliway87 "bopping" him in the mouth might have gotten her hurt. That doesn't always work & I think she handled him great. He finally got bored & quit bucking. I've seen way to many people screw up good horses by being bit jerked to many times.

  • nice friend to put you up before her :)

  • Nice bronco there:p

  • I think the horse has a little pain in its back. And, you know, the horse wasn't ride in three weeks. Little musces in the back, I think. But why were you telling us to don't comment your "bad riding"? It looks damn great! I should be tasting the ground if I was in your situation! :'3

  • @Nickolina98 Yeah, I'd be in the dirt face first. Then again my gelding didn't do that when he was in younger days, all four feet were off the ground and his back twisted like a contortionist. He could buck :P

  • Didn't you warn him about his feet being all the way in the stirrups? He had them all the way in and if he fell off the horse he could have been drugged across the arena.

  • Loool at lameness. If he was so lame i very much doubt he would buck like that :') You stayed on realllyyy well, some people just do not understand that horses are a animal meaning they have a mind of there own. They can be hyperactive... like above :') x

  • Im sorry.... but there obviously is something wrong with this horse.. it may be green and young, but there is no need for it too buck like this..! and people saying to beat it is soo wrong! it obviously lame or ill fitting equipment! no horse does this because its fresh. if it was just fresh he would be bucking while moving and being exited, this is stopping and refusing too move and its unhappy.

  • Nice Stayong on!! Showss Good Control! Yhur A greatt Ridder cuutee horse<3

  • SOME PEOPLE1: this horse was a racing standard breed 2:that is the way standard breed buck as they are not all that coordinated when ridden with in the first few months with some years 3:i do not hate standard breeds as my first horse was a standard breed 4:the horse is not lame he is a pacer they have 5 gaits and occasionally get mixed up in 2 of the five at once learn to look at horse before giving a opinion that you have know idea about or have the right to give horse will be better in time

  • wtg! sIT BACK & RIDE EM COWGIRL!

  • There's always a reason for the buckling. If the horse is young it can be that he's not properly ride in yet, Usally it's something wrong with the sadle or anything else with the equipment. You should check if the sadle is too tight, because a horse that have's the perfect equipment would never buckle like that..

  • MAD HORSE

  • This horse needs to be lunged, and get the shit beat out of him. Bastard horse.

  • @ThatCowgirl105 WOW id hate to be your poor horse if thats what you do to them?!?!?!!

  • @rachellouise6991

If the horse acts like this, yep, i will beat the sense into them. A horse knows what not to do, unless ofcourse the rider let them get away with it constantly OR the horse is in pain. Aside of that.... ignorance!

  • @ThatCowgirl105 I agree! Haha. This horse is no kids' horse. I'd take a Thoroughbred fresh off the track than a Standardbred.

  • she said she cundnt and thats y u ride western and not thoes crap horses

  • Did you remember to lunge him first before riding him to blow off some steam?

  • @SurPurr1 Read her description and she has already answered that question :)

  • blimey he has some hind legs on him! fair play for staying on (:

  • I'm NOT trying to be mean. I don't think there is anything wrong with this horse or your riding, but I wanted to point out that most of the time that this horse bucks his ears are pinned. I am NOT hating, I just was taught that there are three types of bucking. 1.The horse is inexperienced and is acting up 2. The horse is in pain or is feeling uncomfortable 3. The horse is fresh/happy. And when ears are pinned, it's usually one of the first two. Again, not hating, I think your a great rider!

  • I did'nt see him buck once

  • Not meaning to be one of those annoying commenters but i have to!!! ( so sorry) that horse didn't buck once.... for it to be actually considered a buck all 4 feet must be off the ground!!

  • 1:16 Should Be A New Move In Dressage!

  • Comment removed

  • I would try & take him easy around the arena. My horse gets excited when we start off trotting first & sometimes starts bucking. Good job staying on though (:

  • Well I think the one picture where he looks like he is standing on his front feet is hilarious! I love it! Good job staying on! I had a horse once that used to buck so hard he would catapult me through the air. I could never sit through it. He was a VERY big 18'2+ warmblood baby. He nearly killed me so kudos to you! I am a former Pony Clubber from the Sunshine Region!!

  • Why bother typing stupid comments like you know best! Its just wasting your finger energy:D Well sat bucking is horrible

  • im on the no hitting team, youre not meant to let your emotions overtake you, because then it can turn into an all out brawl. just staying on the horse is teaching him a lesson. its teaching him that his disputes have no affect and he is expected to keep working. but you did a good job :) well done

  • You need to give your horse a little decsiplin ur letting ur horse get away with it. If u dont he will constantly buck. Besides that ypudid a great job

  • my horse once acted like that.....good times....... -.-

  • Maybe he has backproblems ??

  • you lucky you where able to WALK with him I once rode a pony that hadn't been ridden for 2 YEARS :') I love the little bastard though haha wasn't his fault he behaved like that

  • Well-sat, but you DO need to correct the behavior.... if you don't, he will just keep doing it...! The person who suggested smacking him is actually not an idiot, but whatever you decide to use as your punishment, make sure it is consistent! Let him know that bucking is NOT ok!!! Good job riding!!

  • You are an amazing rider first of all for staying on !!!! But my question is... Are you breaking him in or does he do that all the time?

  • If you don't want peoples comments nasty or otherwise why upload a video that just shows you sitting there rather than teaching the horse not to do it ???

  • There's not much you can do to actually discipline a horse when he bucks, besides everyone's go-to, which is a crop and some hard smacks. Which will make it act up more. If I ever see someone whipping their horse for bucking, be it at a show or during a lesson or just out for a ride, I WILL take their crop and whip THEM with it. See how they like it.

  • DO NOT HIT YOUR HORSE WHEN HE BUCKS. Ride it out and keep your horse moving. It's a battle&you need to stay seated and win (just like moving a horse out of your space when he's not wanted their, you're not wanted on his back&you need to show him you're staying). Good practice sometimes for if you ever want to try saddle bronc riding ; ) If you can stay seated for 10 minutes, and your horse still hasn't stopped, get off and lunge the horse. Often you can see things you couldn't from the saddle.

  • Can people check the date on this video before replying, and perhaps read the description? And if your comment involves anything from there, DON'T POST IT.

    Also^^^^

  • ok peopple are saying hitting is bad for it but when he does buck you need to dicipline him

  • @SUPERMACISSMOKINHOT Agreed. The horse can't learn that that's appropriate behaviour.

  • Prime example of alot of horses around .................. PEOPLE, DISCIPLINE YOUR HORSES!!!

No respect on the ground equals this shit!!!

1967impalagirl you may think you're "good" for being able to sit this bucking but fuck, all you DID was sit it, there appeared to be absolutely NO sign of trying to correct this behaviour whatsoever.

Your pony club should be teaching you how to train a horse rather than just the unimportant crap that most pony clubs and riding schools teach these days.

  • Ehh.. i don't want to be rude or anything, but my first toughed when i saw this video, was as well looks like he is sore..

  • 125 people fell off at the first buck

  • Music goes good with his moves. Maybe you could teach him some Lippizaner moves he has the ability

  • awh! i <3 standardbreds!

  • MY HORSE DOES THAT! its soo fun:)) hes really cold backed so if i tap him he bucks but hes really cheeky and whenever i canter with someone infront its like a rodeo :))

  • a tip keep ur heals doen and u might not bounce so mutch

  • i love a bucking horse there so much fun!! i used to ride one who loved to buck just because he was plain naughty stopped after he realised 1. i wasn't coming off and 2. he'd get a smack on the bottom!! xD very well sat! :)

  • I have a youngster who is perfectly healthy and saddle been professionally fitted etc etc and when he doesn't want to do something he does the same! This guy looks like he is just having a paddy like most youngsters do! She isn't asking for advide and wanting opinions!

  • dude timetoshine021 shut the fuck up its still a damn buck

  • good job on staying on!

  • WELL i understand everyone commenting saying good rider BUT seriously thats barrly a buck soooo WTF.

  • @timetoshine021 dude u must not know anything about horses or riding cause by looking at the video that was a buck thank u verry mutch

  • @hailabugg14 actually i do know ALOT about horse probably more then you........how many horse have you rode that rear buck spin and cow kick.......oh and how many show have u went to where your horse trys to throw you of like 5 time but yet still get fisrt place..........BARRLY A BUCK not sayin it dident buck i said BARRLY BUCK so shut the fuck up.....i actully said WELL i understand everyone commenting saying good rider NEVER SAID SHE WAS A BAD RIDER.......just said it was barrly a buck

  • Looks like this guy is a little too frisky. LOL, ride um cowgirl!!!!!

  • Haha, cute :-D

    Having fun!

  • HYPER HORSE MUCH LOL!!! Your a good rider :) I don't think I could sit a buck but then again I only have a year or so worth of experience :P

  • I have a standardbred ria she is 15.3hh and u am only 11 so that is pretty big for me and she hadn't of been riden in six months and all she does is a cow kick

  • haha. I'm in pony club too. And you have to be a C-2 to lunge. I have the ability to do C-3 now on a pony and since I am on a medium pony I can only be a D-3 max because of his jumping skills. You don't have to listen to them about lunging. thats such a STUPID rule. i lunge all the time at home... Its not like there going to come randomly to your barn & snoop. If they did you wouldn't get in trouble. You just can't lunge and stuff at rallies or ratings

  • Well done :)

  • Go ride em cowgirl.

  • ur such a good rider

  • Such a cute bucker, looks smooth ;)

congrats for sitting all of them!

  • he bucks really cute actually x'D

  • I agree with a couple of the others. It seems that the saddle might be bothering the horse. It doesn't seem to be trying to lose the rider. I just seems to be tryig to get adjusted to the saddle. The rider is doing fine and if it's a green horse it doesn't surprise me. The mechanical way it kicks out tells me there is a saddle issue.

  • Does he do this often? It seems the saddle may be bothering his back. Or he's just learned when he acts like this he gets away with it. Drive him forward and stick with it.

  • very epic bbbbhahhahhahahhahha go up the fields and then yopun know what epic bucking is ha

  • Knappy!!!!!

  • I just want to say I think you did GREAT!!!! naughty boy you're riding! and you were cool as ice. Way to go! :) (I'm a professional and I know how hard these can be to sit :))!

  • Oh, and might I add that EVERYTIME I get on my older gelding to ride (bareback or with a saddle), he throws a few bucking fits. He's not lame, no stone bruising, nothing. Perfectly healthy, saddle fits fine, and he loves to go bareback too. He just doesn't want to work, but quiets down after a few minutes.

Don't jump to conclusions when you don't read the description&aren't there to know if anything else is going on ( :

  • Has anyone else realized that there may just be no reason for the bucking? I hate how everyone always jumps to health problems, saddle fit, lameness, etc, etc. Maybe he was feeling a bit fresh after not being ridden in so long? Like how most horses get?

Also, for the idiot that suggested smacking him, if you smack a bucking horse, he bucks harder or he just keeps bucking. Hitting your horse is never the solution to anything, unless he's being aggressive in your space&refuses to leave.

  • @AliasRaven Just looking for a few seconds that horse is screaming Lumbar Myositis. A 'fresh' buck is just a few pops and we are done, these bucks are because the horse is painful. Notice how the horse bucks and wants to just stand there? Because moving is painful. A 'fresh' horse does not want to stand around, they want to go, go, go! Wouldn't it be better to be safe rather than sorry? Get a vet out to check that horse's back :(

  • @AliasRaven people are under the impression that the horse is sore, and not just fresh, because it throws a buck and then just stands there. A fresh horse would want to move and perhaps run around. Also, it's tail is flat against it's bum even as it's bucking... it just appears to be more of an aggravated kick than a playful buck. But, perhaps this horse is just quirky like that and they have had it checked by a vet. My inclination from this clip alone is that this horse is not playing. But --

  • this is not my horse, and I don't know it. I'm sure that, especially after a billion people suggesting that her horse is in pain she has had it checked - I certainly would be careful if I was getting the same insight so many times about my own videos - just to be safe. So with that said, you're definitely right - if one person's said it, no need to say the same thing over and over when really - we are not to judge the wellness of this horse.

  • @AliasRaven That's not fresh bucking. That's FU bucking. "Woo Hoo" bucking looks different and usually doesn't start standing still. There is no way to tell from this video WHY this horse is saying FU, but he is.

And to the OP...you aren't 'ceritified' to lunge, but you are cleared to ride this horse??

  • hey the saddle might be hurting her because she seems to be bucking for no reason? :/ maybe get her saddle and back checked?

  • Sorry, but I couldn't stop laughing at this! PFHA, he looks like a robot when he bucks!

  • Everyone that is being nasty to this girl you REALLY need to stop. She did the best she could to try to stop the bucking. Obviously her horse has a little bit of enegry, oh well your not gonna die. This horse is not lame at all. He probabally just wants to run. So back off of this girl and get a life.

  • Great riding!!! :) My 3yo has attitude and does this, but only with one leg :) He's a funny chap!

  • u need to smack the horse im sure he is a good horse but if you want him to stop bucking smack him!!!!!

  • when a horse bucks you pull up..theres no way of truly knowing if there lame unless they trot and there head bobs or pushing on the frog or leg and they pin there ears back or freak out..shes a good rider and stayed on good...i barrel race and go to rodeos she did great..if you dont ride you dont know

  • Everyone, please stand for Youtube's national anthem.

  • @iLuvHorses90

is it sad i actually stood up?

  • saloperie de poulain xD

  • You did amazingly sitting to that, so ignore all the rude comments, some people like to put down riders on youtube because they are probably terrible riders themselves & want to feel special.

Definetly no signs of lameness, my horses do this every time I bring them in after a months break! (:

  • not epic

  • if u knew anything about horses u would know he is at least showing signs of being or becoming lame. u should eally talk to ur trainer or coach about lunging. it will help

  • @Jamesina1 he is showing no signs of being lame ... this horse is perfectly fine and is just getting out his energy from not being ridden in three weeks, and if YOU knew anything about horses you would know what this horse is doing and why lol. my horse will do the same thing when she has lots of energy:) and i apploud her on how she handled this situation by staying calm.

  • This is NOT epic. I don't care who you are or what you say. This isn't even bucking. His head would have been down and all four feet would have been off the ground

  • hate it

  • On the contrary, I think your riding is excellent. In every photo of the buck you were perfectly balanced!

  • Looks Like Fun

  • i would fall even though im ood at ridding

    i think

  • Been there, sweetheart. Not your fault, you did great just staying on. Here's hoping for better luck next time!

  • i disliked this becuase of this stupid gay hobo song

  • my did you know round pinned him or longer that can hurt the horse if you did not ride him for tree weeks. I have a horse and I have to ride he everyday if not I round pin her. you did good staying on but. I would make my friend ride her own horse first then get on. please to not think I am being Mean. but it's the truth and the truth hurts

  • Don't listen to all them loser they obviously don't know what their talking about. The horse is not lame.. Obviously after not being ridden for 3 weeks it's gonna have alot of energy and I say fair play to her for sitting it so well. And yes you do pull when a horse is bucking because it stops them from going into a mad bucking spree.. :)

  • No offence but hose bucks dont look that big! i've been through worse.... :p Good job though!! you sat them real well :)

  • hehe naughty horse!!!

  • Nice riddeing

  • I like your ridding I'm a horse fan

  • It's a shame that you ride a horse that has done nothing for three weeks. He isn't bucking without a reason. If you are not allowed to lunge because of a ponyclub, I should get my horse out there, straight away. That horse is in pain. I have my own horse and I have ridden enough bucking horses to know that this isnt testing the rider, but this is protest because of the pain that he is in. Yeah, you sat well, but that doesnt mean that you can treat a horse like this.
