Reminds me of the time I had one join me for a shower when I was 15...

I hopped in the shower, added shampoo to my hair, I looked at the weird discolored spot on the shower curtain near my right arm.... I jumped I broke the soap dish with my left knee, left an obvious escape trail of blood and water down the hallway, luckily he didn't follow me.

Unluckily butterfly stitches didn't cut it and Mum didn't appreciate the blood/water trail left during my evacuation.

The spider is a female because she does not have hooks on her pedipalps. She is harmless, but being bitten by her would not be pleasant of course. I think she's quite a cute little animal :D

That's not even a word, and spiders are venomous, not poisonous? Also, huntsman spiders have weak venom. They are harmless unless you're allergic to them, which is a pretty rare thing.
