run into any problems with the swap? ill be doing this exact thing. fuel injected 351w, a guy is selling me one drop in ready with zero miles fresh build for 1900. he says it will be ready just to plug n play. i have an AOD trans. anything you might recommend doing to make the swap easier? i got just a stock 5.0 in there right now.

@tabletop45 Well it depends on what all comes with the motor like what kind of oil pan and accessorys it has you need an after market oilpan headers for 351 short or long tubes ,power stering bracket for 351 you can get it at summit or jegs and you need a distributor for 351 also trans and starter will fit mit need a stall depending on the cam

my main concern was how much HP a stock AOD can handle i dont think they can handle the power a 351 puts out

@tabletop45 The AOD should handle about 380hp just put a shift kit to help with the oil pressure on the tranny
