I had a music box, it was given to me but my best friend, he moved away shortly after, never saw him again. I loved that music box, whenever I was upset I would play it, it would calm me down and i'd usually go to sleep. I got a phone call one day that he and his family had been murdered so my family and i got on a plane and flew there, we attended the funeral and when i came back the music with is usually on my bedside table was gone. There's no memory of him left.

My only music box was given to me by my great grandmother 2 years before she passed away. It was the only melody that could calm me down when i was upset or put me to sleep at all. The day she passed away, i played it once and put it in my drawer. It's been 3 years since she passed away and i've only heard it 3 times since then. I only play it on the date of her death.
