You are fantastic! Can you possibly do a younger version of Richard Harris back in his "Camelot days"? You would nail him. (am watching all of your videos btw) Also in the mid 1970's I had lunch in a small crummy diner - eating AT the counter and Vincent Price came in and sat next to me and ordered the most boring breakfast ever - like eggs over easy, toast, coffee and he was SO SCARY - not meaning to be. He was in Dayton Ohio to play Fagin in 'Oliver' that week. He really talked that way.
'Allo me old china, 'az abaht yer lend me some of yer spondulicks so I can go dahn t' the chippy and get meself some nosh? Fanks, mate. Wotcher! Fried Tomahtaz!
If this was an Impression of upper-class Southern-English from 1908 then yeah not bad. As others have said theres too many accents in Britain to generalise one accent. But, thats more something to do with American ignorance (no offence) but as your impressions go - not half bad!
british isn't a dialect...english is a language, british english is a dialect, tbh your doing a minority accent range of the upper classes lol missing out about 90% of actual british accents lol, like scouse, manc, brummi, cornish, bristolian, even they have accents with in them so yeah this is kind of fail cos no one in britain actually speaks like that its kind of only in american films where the brits the bad guy and unbelievably posh or a cockney lol *mini rant over* :P otherwise well done
you would do a GREAT impression of mr. peterman from seinfeld.. (john o'hurley). unless you've already done him. if not, you should add him to your collection. lol. can you do ET? lol. that's one that i do..
LMAO.. so i am not the ONLY one that notices the albert finney<--my last name by the by (fun facts lol) over pronunciations. like in the corpse bride.. i CONSTANTLY quote him with..."there's an EYEE in me SOUPP!" ROTFL!
Vincent Price is American -- a lot of actors in his day used a british-like sound and when I was a kid I thought all actors from the 30s and 40s were British. Vincent Price was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. JOnathan Harris was from The Bronx -- Bette Davis was from Boston -- the list goes on and on.
Good impressions, but one major oversight: British is a nationality, not a dialect. No more so than "American" is a dialect. Your dialects tend to be Southern English/RP, and that is still being broad.
Thank You For Posting; Although Vincent Price wasn't 'British', he was born in, and received his foundation accent from Saint Louis, Missouri, America, super-imposed with a 'received B.B.C.' accent, and with that knowledge, replicating Vincent Price's accent is easy for one of your talent. Your vocal/acting talent is closer to Paul Frees, and better than Daws Butler.
you're absolutely amazing at the old men-type voices (my personal favorite is austin powers), but can you try doing an ordinary young British guy around your age? i'd love to see a video of that
coming from a british person, i say they were pretty damn good, not may americans can do an english accent without sounding australian or like a super posh british

Hey, man, NICE WORK! I really like your style and versatility of voices. If you get a chance, check out some of my impersonation videos. I'd love to hear what you think. Again, great work!
Interesting Fact: The original productions of Shakespeare plays were performed in a dialect more like American Standard than British!
As an actor I've studied Shakespeare and have been through a pretty awesome workshop. I had no idea!! Maybe they just tell us that so that we don't over do the British accent when we are performing Shakespeare's works.
Has anyone mentioned that Vincent Price wasn't British? And where's your Peter O'Toole? Your Oliver Reed? Your Graham Norton? Okay, kidding about Norton...
But I feel like you're currently focusing on a very small area of British accents; mainly south of London. It'd be interesting if you tried more northern, it's harder for most people to grasp.
British (or really you mean english, seeing as no Scotts or Welsh people featured (But Richard Harris who's Irish)) people would never say "You-toob"... But other than that, love your work you sexy sexy impressionist you.
Yep I meant David, the nature television writer/presenter with a gazillion programs to his name. Not his brother Richard, the actor/director, although, come to think of it, that might be quite alright as well. :)
You are brilliant, and have completely mastered the British accent, quite apart from the individual voices which are better than the original characters! Great admiration!
u can do all the really posh english voices, like oxfordshire and cambridgeshire. but u should try working class east-end london or yorkshire or liverpool or something more peculiar
Sorry for using American lol. But I am English, and it is kinda crap. You just need to look at the weather. Why do I get such a low rating just for not liking England :( Still, it's better than many other countries. Such as... even though I use "sucks" USA is only good for it's music and of course a certain voice impressionist :)
Wow, your really cool :) I expected a really nasty reply to my comment lolz You are a true British person! Meh, Britian has its moments but im happy with it :)
Heh :) I try to not use nasty replies, coz I've experienced them too much from other people... especially crazy religious people who think I'm possessed by satan, and have tried to get him out lol (no offence to anyone religious here, I'm sure you're not crazy!!)
