@funkyalfonso that's sad why someone would ever question the pure terror of being stuck in a camp like those for years--and then after years of hard labor, barely any food, and contagious illnesses just cast into a burning oven like some vermin. It's so depressing to even read about it, how could someone say it couldn't be a nightmare. Put them into a small room with a hundred people for a week, and they'll see what isn't a nightmare.
The book is able to explain the unexplainable with the pictures and the emotions which are connected with them.I normaly hate to read but this book I could not put aside.Cool video btw. ^^
Cool, and a very nice tribute, but Maus wasn't supposed to be scary, it was supposed to be a story about the tragic events that happened told in a way that will actually touch the reader.
i think that was part of spiegelman's idea. the holocaust is a scary thought, just like stalin's construction of the road of bones in siberia. don't let fear turn you away from the masterpiece that Maus is
that was soooo COOL! MAUS IS THE BEST BOOK EVA!!!

I just had a good idea. They should make a show based on the Maus books and it will be shown on Adult Swim. Money maker right there

Art Spiegelman has had four or five offers to turn this into a film
englishfrenchgerman 2 years ago
I know. i think if they make the movie properly, it would be wonderful to watch
fishkid94 2 years ago
If they found a director to handle it appropriately and not deviate at all from the Source material, then it would make an astounding film.

thats a terrible idea!!

More or less three weeks working with Maya and one more or rendering.

Only three weeks? That is impressive I would figure it would take on the orders of a couple of months

Awesome way of doing this though.

To me, Maus was scary. Not in a way that drove me from it, but the subject matter alone, no matter how you draw it, is going to be scary.

@jamesaellis Doubt it would ever happen, Art Spieglman is against the idea of a movie or tv show spinoff.

That was incredible. In a minute, the feelings that I felt when I read Maus were brought back to light. The fear and everything. . .wow.
