I didn't realize that there was more than one Tron arcade game. When I was a little kid, I remember playing the disc-launching game at the arcade a couple times.

@FatSynthDude This was the first one, then there is the rarer sequel "Disks of Tron" - was that the one you remember? (Surprisingly, there wasn't a DoT cabinet at Flynn's Arcade, but perhaps they couldn't find one in working order to rent.)

@VJFranzK That's the one I played! It was hiding in the back corner of Pistol Pete's Pizza in it's own little booth-type setup. Tough game, too!

@FatSynthDude yeah, a VR sort of thing, ahead of it's time. The controls are too complex to really connect with it intuitively! (That could be also be said for many synths / computer apps couldn't it? ;-) See also the Space Paranoids video...
