  • oh yeah, and there is digital noise in every color.... it's horrible upclose... they really are cheating us. plus their xfinity service always has problems like skipping, or channel errors.

  • If you're using an AV amp and look at the amp's LED display, I think you'll find the pixelation occurs when the amp switches back and forth from digital to sat/cable setting. In your YouTube video, you can hear the sound cutting off, which is occurring when the singles are changing back and forth. You have to adjust the settings on the amp and you'll no longer have the problem.

  • This is the same problem I had. 2 -1080p Vizios with HDMI connection. I called to complain, they added another digital box to my account and dropped my NFL Red Zone. I know retarded people who have higher IQs than Comcast Customer Service. I have DIRECTV now and I LOVE IT. Comcast is run by a bunch of monkeys. And that's an insult to the monkeys.

  • mine does this too. except its nonstop i cant watch!!!!!!!!!

  • Make sure all of the coaxial cable CONNECTORS ARE TIGHT. Even one loose connector with intermittent ground contact will cause digital pixelation like shown in this video. When a connector is loose it looses ground contact causing tiling.

  • Ours is even worse than this. Sometimes on HD channels but always during "PrimeTime" on all channels. Has anyone using Comcast Xfinity had this problem?

  • And how much are people paying for this SHIT every month? Not worth a damn nickel imo. Comcast has been the worst cable service available ever since they turned to this digital crap. There was nothing wrong with cable on analog, at all. There is no way to fix these issues because the problem is the cable service from them ITSELF. Every single person who has ever had Comcast box with this new digital crap experiences this. Obviously the problem is Comcast's technology being SHIT.

  • any way to get rid of this??? I been seeing pixels a lilbit on my tv I just got comcast hd >.>??

  • RG 6 CABLE HAS TO BE USED FOR DIGITAL!!

  • mine is way worst than that

  • crap i just looking up hd boxes for comcast to see review on how great it looks and come accross all these videos lol not good

  • my fucking comcast pixelated on the standard channels tonight and its done it only on sports channel what I watch most what the fuck is that. the channel kept cutting in and out during an NBA tv game and even on comcast sports net california while the cal depaul game was on and if you call them they wont do shitt!....

  • you think this is bad, wait till you see the pixelation on my comcast cable, you can barely see what the hell your watching

  • My comcast used to do that on *SD* channels. I have FIOS now. :p

  • Well, your comcast 'HD quality' Sci-fi channel is almost as bad as the Dutch sci-fi channel, because the Dutch one is not even widescreen (let stand High Definition).

  • comcast quality! time to cancel that comcast subscription.

  • It's a result of the addition of new HD channels and Comcast compressing 3 channels onto on one QAM

  • what the heck is that!, i see it at the tv store, the images either blur at fast rates of motion or the image stops working and pixelates, is this really better than analog? i know analog doesnt do that, and it doesnt pixelate at fast motions either!

  • I would recomend changing to Directv HD.

I have never seen chops like that on DTV HD.
