In order to be eternal, we would have had to have no beginning, but we did have a beginning at the point we were created.There is only one who is eternal and that is God, he always was.To say man is eternal is saying we are one with God or that God is not separate from his creation which is not true.God has revealed himself to us in his word, and the full revelation of the Father to mankind was in the person of Jesus Christ.
@GodLovesUs100 God didn't send us to this world to worship and kiss his ass. He put us in this world so we can learn and gain experience thru our mistakes and our joys in life so we can become pure as god. God is collection of all energy in the entire universe and we are a small part of that energy.
@MrTr0llol My friend, that is not the truth.We are not God nor can we become God.We have been put on earth in order to know him and glory in him, and make him known to others.We don't make "mistakes" merely, we commit sin which is a direct offense to a Holy Creator, a spit in his face, which must be punished.Only through Jesus can we find forgiveness b/c only he died for our sins.We cannot rely on ourselves to define God for the universe, we must go to him and seek his truth.
@GodLovesUs100 Yes we are...we come from the same energy. We are beings of light. God is collection of all of us. God exists out of time so it doesn't matter when you dead or alive. There has been many Near Death Experiences where they say they return the bright light and can feel all of the beings in the world at once.
@MrTr0llol And are they the authority we should be looking to?No, we cannot put our hope in man.Saying man is God is blasphemy, it is the same old trick Satan has been trying to convince the world since the beginning."eat this apple and you shall become as god". It is the sinful human pride within us that makes us want to esteem ourselves as gods, but in reality, we must humble ourselves before God, realizing we are but his creation, and he alone deserves glory.

God did not invent Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism.
we did.
God created us to live and learn lessons in life so we can move on from this realm to the next.
