I just picked up a '76 B200 Sportsman Royal SE real D code 440 van, and I'm curious if I have tires sticking out, are they going to hit the body on big dips? I plan on useing the heck out of this van, but want to hotrod it a tiny bit too. Already have slotted mags on the way. Will either tuck 7.5" wides, or run N50's on some 10" wides and let em stick out. 7's or the 7.5 then up front. Also noticed I could easily lower the rear about 2" with minimal modding. Mine has the 6100 GVW rating.

I just picked up a 76 Sportsman Royal SE 440 van and was curious about tire sizing.
Now mine seems a tiny bit higher up out back with the current close to stock 28" tall skinnies on it, but I was curious if I had tires sticking out if they will hit the body badly on big dips. I plan on useing the heck out of this van, so I don't really want to hurt the useability of it by hotroding it to much. Have some slotteds on the way. Going either 7.5", or 10" wides out back, depending.
@SixSpeedSS. I had 10" wide Meats(Tires) on the Back of My Van with No Rubbing Issues, but Sometimes it would sling dirt or mud onto the Body. The Tires stuck out past the body by maybe a half inch.
Overall, I like the modifications done on the van. I've always liked Dodge vans of this era. My least favourite is the front grille. I like the original grille. Oh well. It's your van.
I have a 77 dodge tradesman but i have no idea where i can get spares from. Do you know where i could get them from? And would they be able to be shipped to Scotland? I would really appreciate if you could help me.
By the way your dodge is damn fine, i want mine to look something like that!
I have one! how much would ya give me for it? 2000 watt sound system in it with gps and dvd. very nice strong 318. very nice inside. needs some body work.
Good Stuff Guys! I just picked up a B200 with a 340 in her...just needs carb work and minor body..it even has the tear drop portholes on the rear sides! Cant wait to throw in some Steely Dan and go cruzin with my new baby!
I'm 16 and about to by my second vehicle. The cool thing is is that its my dad's old 1975 dodge tradesman. Haha I'm gonna try to bring the "daze" back haha
dodge vans fuckin rule i mod mines and put a hemi it burnes them with no brakes all the way to second gear now its sitting on 13 inch wide slicks,, intake and borla exhust 13.8 1/4 mile i'm wating to get a camara and computer to make a video
did a good job cleaning it up. I just would have gone with a different color. That's a little (allot) to bright. It needs to be black, or some other dark color to be on something that big (something that stands out anyway).
i got a 77 tradesman 200 im workin on i want to put a 360 in it i just did a 2 in lift in the back it sits just about the same as the one in the video
