  • i new i should have worn a condom now look what i have created, my son is a racist hater , fuck you billy. daddys upset

  • I didnt want to give Maher the benefit of the doubt but he was right all along.

  • Down with the ZOG!

  • "you are already bankrupt" Well I don't disagree. But the total bankruptcy will happen faster. All too many Americans seem to think there are no consequences of their foreign policy. Its too bad that the media and politicians constantly lie..

  • Maher reminds me how similar McCain's choice of Palin is to Bush's ill-fated selection of his cleaning lady for the Supreme Court.

It's really not about competence to do the job. Any schmo can assemble good advisors and avoid blowing the place up (if that is their desire).

It IS about policy: Supreme Court and abortion and war on drugs and environment and world-bullying.

Just say no to McCain/Palin; for peace, prosperity, and liberty.

  • Completely wrong. McCain promises more wars and taxcuts in the middle of economic crises. USA will quickly go completely bankrupt.

USA needs a long period of peace and prosperity so that it doesn't end up like all

McCain doesn't understand economics and Palin is a blank page on foreign policy. And the neocons(aw crap) want to teach her. Bomb bomb Iran will completely tank the economy.

  • mccain is hardly the lesser of two evils. he is 72 years old and has a dunce for a running mate.electing him is like commiting national suicide. Besides, hearing his whistling and seeing his 10 million blinks everytime he talks has gotten really old.

  • what do you mean neither? Is there any evidence of that? I know the democrats arn't that hot, but it seems pretty obvious that they arn't as sucky as republicans. The last decade was pretty much totally dominated by the GOP and they are given so many passes for their colossal fuck ups. Not to mention the Rove politics they brought to the table. Also, I'd take Nader over Paul any day!

  • so how is the republican party doing? Destroying the american economy.....

  • As always, Bill Maher tells it like it is. I just wish more people would pay more attention to what is going on in this election and use their brain for once. Logic, reason, and critical thinking skills should always override religious beliefs when it comes to electing a government official.

    *Obama/Biden 08*

  • maher is genious

  • Ok so I spelled Idiot wrong, sorry. He is an idiot.

  • ok so I spelled Genius wrong, sorry. Im Swedish.. He is brilliant and GENIUS. One of the few americans i still admire!

  • McCain + Palin = Rat Shit

  • The most fascinating part of this interview was when Maher implied Mccain was being set up to lose this one (1:33)...

It's strange that he'd casually bring up a theory believed primarily by those 911 truth "conspiracy theorists" he has gone out of his way to belittle in the past.

  • He didn't imply that it was a set up. He was being sarcastic.

  • Bill Maher is about the only one person who can speak for me. The guy just makes sense.

  • Most democrats voted with the Pres 90% of the time too. Most votes are over silly things like naming bridges and congratulating sports teams etc... This 90% number has been echoed way too long.

  • "Most votes are over silly things like naming bridges and congratulating sports teams etc..." OK please cite your source where that is "most" of what they vote on. If I had room I would copy and paste a list of the actual votes so you could see how wrong you are. However, it is true Democrats do the same thing.

  • talking about McCain's douche bag politics and medications right

  • Tell you what...Democrats have a tiny bit more than half the votes in congress and the senate. Can't do jack to pass "bills." But they sure can stop the rubber stamping of bush's bills that the previous republican congress green lighted.

  • the passed countless bills

    and then bush vetos them

  • [and then bush vetos them]

And then they cut funding, and filibuster. Its called fighting back and separation of powers.

  • [Tell you what...Democrats have a tiny bit more than half the votes in congress and the senate. ]

They have a two thirds majority in the Houses, so they can do more than pass (what, is that something that is useless now?) bills.

  • Palin: President on day one? What yall think(lol).

  • The democrats are not in power? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Bill Maher, I guess having the majority in Congress and the Senate is not having power. You dumb corporate shill...

  • Having the simple majority in Congress doesn't put a party in power. The way I understand it: a party needs at least a 2/3 majority in both houses to override a presidential veto. Not to mention all the procedures which congressional minorities can use like filibusters and even the committee structure itself... Its all part of the slow deliberate process of checks n balances in representative democracy.

Maybe you should re-read your Amer. Gov't textbook before voting this Nov.?

  • Comment below was in reply to "berrypievision"...

("democrats are not in power? HAHAHA..."

  • [Having the simple majority in Congress doesn't put a party in power.]

No, but having the majority in Congress AND Senate sort of does. They have what is called the majority in government. Its the same situation in Canada, where the Liberal party has a majority government, so they are in power, even though the PM is of the Conservative party.

  • [a party needs at least a 2/3 majority in both houses to override a presidential veto. ]

So what? Is that the only source of power? Wait, the speaker of the house is a democrat, and they have a majority control of BOTH houses. I do not see how this is lacking power.

  • [ot to mention all the procedures which congressional minorities can use like filibusters and even the committee structure itself]

Wow, minority parties practicing their right in the political system, yeah Democrats, you sure lack power and are being persecuted! Hahahahahaha!

  • [Its all part of the slow deliberate process of checks n balances in representative democracy.]

Yes, its all the slow deliberate, crappy processes of the awful system known as representative democracy.

  • [Maybe you should re-read your Amer. Gov't textbook before voting this Nov.?]

Who says I am going to vote? Why would I waste my time on something like that :)?

  • the president can veto any of the bills congress passes

demcrats arn't in power, dont be rediculous

  • [the president can veto any of the bills congress passes]

This argument is completely ridiculous (a word you cannot spell). Have you ever heard of something called a filibuster? Congress has to authorize ALL funds as well. Geesh, are you this stupid and misinformed?

  • Despite his religous views, I wish THE WORLD COULD SEE THIS 7 minutes. Bill is beyond "right". Palin is sucking the small-town ppl through a straw and all the older(I'm not racist) white ppl. GO BILL INDEED.

  • Bill always brings the truth.

  • minus the truth on 9/11

    but yah

  • Brilliant.

  • As an outsider (Irishman living in Berlin)I just can't figure how anyone living in the states could vote for the republicans, what is so frustrating is that American politics effect we here in Europe and people in the rest of the world and there is nothing we can do about it.

  • So f*cking well said 714Greg! This country is doomed if McCain and Palin get in. Has anyone been watching Obama's interviews on O'Reilly and Olbermann? The guy is brilliant! Go Obama and Biden!

  • Thanks for uploading!

  • Don't forget also gutting more of the National Treasury. No more middle class..sad. By the way, New Zealand for me!

  • Thanks....I FORGOT TO SET MY SVHS-vcr. Not Tivo.Thanks again....Go Bill!

  • If McCain & Palin get in, I guarantee we are all fucked.

America deserves what they get if these two

    mentally disturbed people get elected.

No abortions, no sex education, more war,

more prisons, more federal raids on cannabis clubs, and a bridge to nowhere for all of us.

Seems it'll be time to move to Switzerland if these whacked-out psychos get into power.

  • YES GREG... Thanks you saved me writing it!!

  • @714greg dumb ass liberal always saying they will leave the country if a republican wins yet they never leave.. although i wish you would

  • If I hear the word 'change' one more time I'm going to vomit.

  • spot on bill.
