Captured Teshin was mistake because Poland should fought with Czechs with nazis. But:

1.There wasn`t Polish Germany aliance in 1939.

2.On Tesin area lived Poles mostly.

3.This land was taken from Poland by Czechoslovakia in 1921 when Poland was attacked by Soviet Union. In Polish -bolsheviks war Czechoslovakia stoped french weapon for Poland on border. After Russia and Germany occupie Poland, Hungary occupied Subcarphatia back (it was ours before 1920) so with this there was a common border with Poland. Many civilians and jewish people could escape from the German and Russian terror and they were safe in Hungary!
