I've read Bodine's win probably shouldnt have happened. He was scored on the lead lap, when he actually wasn't... and thus shouldn't have won the race.
he won 8 races in his career if im not mistaken. i know for a fact his 1st win was at richmond in 86 when dale earnhardt and dw had an incident, and his last was in 95 at dover cuz i was there lol.
@RealRacer2442 But Bob will always be bob either with the little fro he had in 1981 or when he looked for the most part the same for over a decade from the mid 80s to the 90s, to now when he's in his Mid 60s on Versus.. He's still the best with motorsports
@NY32986 1) This was posted 3 years ago. 2) Me saying that Bob looks wierd does not change the fact for me that he sucks as a commentator just b/c his hair looked different. 3) Yes. Agree. I think he's one of the best racing commentators around to this date.

Damn racing was good in the 80's and early 90's.

Dr Punch was a great pit road reporter but not the same can be said about his current play by play role.

What was that in the begining when Earnhardt came out of the car.
AutoRockinRacing94 2 years ago
Looks to be the end of a race that Earnhardt had just won that he started to record over at the end.

Dr. Jerry Punch 1980's-1990's = Great Pit Reporter
Dr. Jerry Punch today = mediocre play-by-play announcer

@ReadyToWrestle Doc's making a return though. He sounds almost like he did in 1990s

Eli looks VERY uncomfortable, and why in the blue Hell was he the analyst!? LOL. He was never a driver!
Ernde38 4 years ago
He looks like that guy Mark David Chapman that killed John Lennon.

to me, back then ESPN had more respect for NASCAR and were good with facts. Unlike now

He does play by play for the NHL's Nashville Predators.
Frrrrrrunkis99 4 years ago
I think he also does the play-by-play for Univ. of Alabama football games on the radio.
