That was better than what I was expecting. She just needs to get rid of her Liukin Giants and work a bit on her swing. She's kinda tall though, so it's a bit impressive that she can do what she does on UB, and the amount of progress she made. She was looking rough months before the olympics, on UB.
Liukin giants? That's a bit rude. Yes, there are sometimes leg separations, but you're setting a double standard if you excuse Kozich for her "height" (she's only 5'0", by the way) and not Liukin, who is 5'3".
Yep, my mistake. Either way, the double standard remains, as they are the same height and should both receive respect for competing with such impressive skills.
We're talking more about the ability to perform the same skills as girls that are half a foot shorter than you (and in some cases, closer to about 9 inches or so) while at an obvious disadvantage.
So sad. Did she quit representing Ukraine b/c her coach blamed her for Ukraine not making the team final?

There is nothing impressive about this UB routine. Labored? Yes. Impressive? No...

Just a bad timing of events for her there. But as long as she is committed to gymnastics, I'll be committed as an Alina fan.
