Guys, doing tai chi won't make you an excellent fighter without sparring and doing things like pad work to practice combinations, and heavy bag work to improve power. Doing techniques really really slowly and practicing forms does not lead to accuracy, speed, or power. It's great for technique, as is shadowboxing, but it won't make you a great fighter unless you actually hit someone.

Once sparring or defending oneself you move with speed and finesse due to muscle memory. Actually I'm not offended by this video at all I find it very entertaining.
