As far as I am concerned Peter Noone was Hermans Hermits, these guys are comming up a bit short without him.

Peter Noone quit the band around 1970. In 1975 Barry Whitwam and Derek Lekenby went to court in England and were award the rights to the name "Herman's Hermits" so yes, they do have the right to call themselves Herman's Hermits

Barry resorted to insulting fellow 60's musician Wayne Fontana on the Herman's Hermits starring barry Whitwam website in an attempt to preserve his own reputation. This is absolutely dispicable behaviour on his part, especially considering I have seen them on the same bill. Barry is like the insecure person who has to use other people's misfortune to make himself look better. Truth is he's a drummer and has no name without Herman's hermits.

Why so bitter ? I have worked with Barry several times here in the UK, and he is nice as pie, and has not a bad word to say about anything. You have proved there is room for both versions of the band in this world, it brings pleasure to us all to hear your songs. You were the star of the Band as almost every front man in the world is , a great singer and influence on a lot of musicians all over the world. But a band is made up of more than one person. Why can't we all just get along?

Clem Cattini was drummer, not Barry Whitwam on this record and they took a standing ovation on TV for a song NONE OF THEM WERE ON!!!!!!! Yes I am milking the name and I milk it in public and NEVER claim I was on records I wasn't on. Was Barry on Heartbreak Hotel too?

Only one remaining member, Barry Whitham, the drummer. Noone tours on his own, Lek is dead and I'm not sure what Hopgood and Green are doing.

This band features the original drummer

Barry Whitwam.

He has been in the band non stop since 1964.
