General Dunwoody is an amazing soldier, an amazing commander, and an amazing person. The fact that she's a woman is just a cool sidenote. No, women can have "combat" jobs, but they can still participate in it in many other ways. Besides, combat isn't the only way to become a great leader.

She has DEFINITELY been in combat, or at least a combat theatre. She is wearing Gulf War 1991 ribbons, including the Liberation of Kuwaitt. She IS a combat theatre soldier!

Before you go and say she has never seen combat, take a few moments and do some research. She deployed with the 82nd Airborn for the Gulf War. Just because you are not 11B doesn't mean you don't get shot at. If you're jealous that a woman is that high in the chain of comand then you seriously have some issues and I don't want you in my Army

Women, just like men, have brains, and they can use those brains to command.
