  • Russian weapons will survive the World War 3!

  • I hate that I can't own one of these. This machingun ban crap needs done away with.

  • PKM stands for= Personal Killing Weapon.

    M. Kalashnikov's weapons never gets old. its made to last.

Gotta love this peice of Soviet Machinery along with other Kalashnikov's weapons.

  • Russian version or VLTOR version?(what do you people think is better)

  • It feeds from the right, which is its distinguishable feature.

  • russian people are really dim but they sure know how to make small arms

  • i love the pkm....cheap to shoot (7.62x54) and lots of power and range

  • Russian weapons are not particularly sophisticated with loads of gadgets, but their simplicity is the key to their success, simple and reliable weapons will always win in the long run.

  • ive shot a pkm and i was impressed it was alot lighter than the 240 but it meant recoil was more noticeanble ive shot the 240 alot and use it as a seabee both are great machineguns and share some of the same designs

  • A very impressive firepower.

Those who have come face him know very well ...

  • russian weps suck lol!

  • @Nativeboy0 no american is sucks not russian may they more heavy but they new their job

  • @Nativeboy0 You dumb or what?

  • Russian weapons are more beauty as American.

  • PKM>>>>>>>>>>>>>M60

  • @haytxa911

    Definitely!!!!

  • @haytxa911 more like the GPMG

  • Fucking contrafact...

  • PKM : People Killing Machine

  • in sovjet russia...

they realy have somme awsome shit

and indeed, guns shoot you there

  • not a mm of mussel climb, sniper accurate at single and short burst I love this thing

  • THE sickest gun super balance, super power, super sexy ;] I want one, badly

  • What is the music/song in the video?

  • @comblocarms i believe the song is tantric-breakdown

  • everyone adds music to videos that either doesn't fit or isn't necessary

  • PKM: Paradisiac Killing Machine ^^

  • Sorry, M80 is loaded with 46Gr WC846.

But point is they're all about the same anyways. If one were to get hit by these rounds they wouldn't be able to notice a difference, unless we were to discuss Commericial or Special-Purpose rounds - but standard Military Ball is all about the same here.

  • if 7.62 round hit u in the head , even if u r protected it can break your neck

  • lol... nerds talking about their favorite gun in a game, you all are a big disappointment, get laid

  • 7.62x54 R performs basically the same as 7.62x51 NATO in human flesh. Ballistic Gel tests show they are largely the same. I don't know about the special Sniper Rifle variants of 7.62x54 though. I'd assume the same because they're all Spitzer FMJ. 5.56x45 M855 will outperform both of them in terms of wound size BUT ONLY UNDER 200 YARDS. Beyond that 5.56x45 M855 is largely ineffective.

  • @panzerjager1943

What? You'd rather get hit by a 7.62mm under 200m than a 5.56mm? How does that work?

  • @gosciu555 Yes, I would. But I'd rather not get hit by either. 7.62x54 going through the chest has less chance of hitting vital organs as fragmenting 5.56x45. It's possible to survive wounds to the chest from either, and I've seen photos of chest wounds from both, but 5.56x45 has a much higher chance of fragmenting and hitting vital stuff that a 7.62x54 in the same spot would not.

  • Oh, by the way: I'm talking about Military cartridges here. Full-metal jacket Spitzer. Civilian/Hunting 7.62x54 is devastating, since it expands and fragments much more violently than .223. I know some people who would not even consider hunting with 7.62x51 M80, which performs practically the same as 7.62x54 R.

  • @panzerjager1943

Yeah but isn't M80 somewhat AP, as oppose to the standard 5.56mm whatever it is? Besides, couldn't they make some sort of fragmenting 7.62 ammo thats still within Geneva conventions?

  • @gosciu555 M80 has much better penetration, yes, and they *could* make 7.62 ammo that fragments within Hague conventions, but they haven't yet. Not sure of the effects of the Dragunov's special 7.62x54 ammo. Don't get me wrong, they can still put a man down with ease, but bullets that fragment will give him less chance of fighting again.

  • @panzerjager1943 actualy the 30-06 preforms like the 7.62x64 their almost exactly the same balistic wise

  • @daonejorge .30-06 is not 7.62x51 M80. I never mentioned .30-06 :P

  • @panzerjager1943 no no, i was saying the 7.62x54 is much more like the american 30-06 rather than the 7.62x51

  • @daonejorge Not 7.62x54R fired from a PKM's barrel.

    .30-06 from 24" barrel is more like 7.62x54R fired from a 29" barrel (M91/30.)

    7.62x51 M80 = 147Gr bullet with 42Gr charge, 2800 fps from 22" Barrel

    7.62x54R Ball = 148Gr bullet with 42Gr charge, 2750 fps from 24" Barrel

    .30-06 M2 = 150Gr bullet with 50Gr charge, 2800fps from 24" Barrel

The Military loads are all very similar, including when passing through flesh and bone.

  • the m 60 is more powerfull !

  • @oussama96, yeah it is but the big ass rounds these things fire, they'll take anyone out with the power needed so it makes no difference lol

  • @oussama96 PKM fires 7.62x54r which is in the same class as 30.06 which has more power than the 7.62 NATO or .308 used in the M-60, look it up. The reason they went to 7.62 NATO in the first place was to get a cartridge with less power and was more compact...

  • @oussama96 this gun has a longer bullet and older bullet and looks somewhat nicer

and i think about power if it is more powerful it isnt much

    or is it?

    tell me if iam wrong

  • @oussama96 it is heavier and more expensive though

  • Id say the PKM is good for permiter defense and maybe for helicopters but as far as a individual soldier using it id say put a foward grip under barrel near the gas tube that way u could be able to hold it and fire it by the grip. Im not doubting the weapons performance. Im just merely pointing out an observation.

  • @Wardog687 yeah .... agree on that one...

  • I love PKM!!! and russian weapons!!1

  • so sexy

  • This is most powerfull support weapon in the world. when i was at polish army my frends always told me. "This weapon is your curse:" but i always think. This weapon is my bless. Sorry for my english. Recon rulez!!!!!!!

  • @Pkmajster no its not the m60 is

  • kmPk ist the best but this is not only my opinion.

  • really nice thinked

  • stop playing this stupid music so I can here the PKM unloading some bullets

  • i rather relly on the 21E H&K

  • at the end of the world i want one of those, when zombies attack i want one of those!!!!!

  • if i ever have an extra $10,000 around...its going for one of these and plenty of ammo

  • They are selling for 5500!! Ammo cans and everything included!

  • theres only about 30 of them in the US

  • lie

  • easily the best all around gpmg produced...light, powerful, and extremely reliable.

  • this gun kicks ass, I know this because I have shot it before one of the funnest guns I have shot

  • what's the name of the song ? btw this gun is awsome and very accurate ii's so much fun firing it

  • Tantric - Breakdown

    Better late than never.

  • thank's

  • That gun kicks asses!

  • Comment removed

  • He needs to lean forward more, preferably with his entire weight. That's probably the best way to eliminate that recoil.

  • Lean into it? How's he supposed to do that any more than he already is when he's prone?

  • It`s recoil is normal for 7.62x39 cal. Even better than simply "good"...

  • Comment removed

  • The pkm is in 7.62x54R... not 7.62x39

  • Oh... Sorry. Of course... 7.62x54R. But even better, because the cartridge size!

  • Imádok vele lőni,a súlyát pedig 1-hét alatt meglehet szokni,nagyon pontos .

  • if you can handle the recoil on this gun then there really isnt a better 'light' machine gun

  • i'd take an m240 bravo over this gun anyday.

  • Your opinion will change when you realize what the extra 4 kilograms of weight mean in practice. I got to try the PKM and it got me totally convinced.

  • I'd take an M60E4 over both

  • one of the most accurate weapons...

  • daym, its very accurate and they got millions of it

  • Most machine guns are accurate when handled properly.

  • what would it take to get a one of these fully auto babies in the states or will this company build a fully auto one for me for a price and with the proper paper work from a hungarian PKM parts kits?? thanks for you your comments.

  • id say 8-10 grand, with a 200$ yearly tax, and you would have to get a class 3 gun lisence.. which costs ya, and a rigorous backround check..

  • more like 20-30k. For 8-10k you can get a Ruger ac556 or an m16. For a belt fed mg like that its going to cost alot more, and they keep going up in price.

  • AK's M16's FAL's and similar guns are more expensive too, i wouldnt doubt it if an M60 were 20-30k... but i dont think the pkm would go much higher than 15-22k.. because it IS belt-fed.

its too expensive in ANY case.

  • "breakdown" by tantric

  • BTW what is the song name?

  • Who are your main customers for this?

  • talibans

  • and I bet you believe Ak47 rifles should be banned because all over the world because all they do is kill children?

  • I was just answering your question... I don't see how you could infer from my answer that I take a view or not on ak47s.

  • So your saying an American owned and operated company is supporting the main enemy of the United States Armed Forces in Afghanistan? And who are credited with sheltering Osama bin Laden right now?

  • has it crossed your mind that maybe a pkm got sold to a third party who then sold it to some other dude and it got sold again etc until it eventually got to afghanistan? hmmm??? too complicated for you??

  • Hmmmm... I buy a PKM, serial number is connected to me by the federal government because machineguns are heavily regulated... I sell to taliban... US Soldiers kill taliban, they cross check retrieved PKM,... I go to jail.... wow, you have such a thorough understanding of things.

  • The best gun of it's class.

    I want one soooooo bad.

  • vltor sells a semi-auto version for 5grand and i'm saving up

  • The full auto is WAY THE FUCK cheaper

  • Whats the point though of having a semi, do they sell dealer samples for a reasonable price???

  • Hmmm, me thinks that five grand is better to buy a AR15 with all the accessories and ammo to play with.

your money and your life but 5 grand for a gun that does not go full auto which in first place is what it is renound for doing properly is kinda waste.

  • And me thinks you can stick your little AR 15 up your ass when you compare it to the PKM :P

  • Problem is bro full auto weapons are horribly expensive in the US. With five grand you can get fully tricked out assualt rifle. Be it AK, Sig, XCR, AR or any of the Styer AUG clones and have enough money left over for ammo for a full day of shooting.

  • OK, I get that but still it does not change my opinion that the PKM is a better weapon and if I like something as much as the PKM (which is my favorite weapon by the way) I am willing to pay for it. Sure, it takes some time to save up money but I think that it would be worth it :) Unfortunately for me, here in Romania the gay-ass law don't allow civilians to have full auto weapons:'( I envy you americans you have it a way better system then this corrupt shithole

  • Not American but they cant have any full auto weapons manufactured after the 1986 ban if I understand correctly. It costs around 10K for just a full auto uzi over there at the land of the free and its over 20 years old already.

Its your money but how do you base your statement that the PKM is a more awesome weapon? Based on personal experience? Aesthetics? What armchair commandos (I am one of them hehe) have said in a forum?

  • PKM is a better weapon than the AR-15(in my opinion) because: 7.62x45mm vs. 5.56x45mm (more power), barrel length: 645mm vs. 508 or less on some models (longer range), 3.6kg or ~4.4kg vs 7.5kg (although extra weight is not always a +for a firearm it does make it easier to control when firing).Last, but not least, lets not forget the sturdiness and relatively easy maintenance of all russian weapons.

  • How are guns laws there in the land of vampires BTW, aside from full auto being not allowed? Are barrel lengths limited? Features such as muzzle brakes/hiders and folding stocks limited too?

And will this be your first long semi-auto firearm? Got know this first before responding to you latest statment.

  • I don't know how gun control laws are around here. But I can tell you that guns here in Romania are too fucking expensive (example: the minimum wage is about 300 lei and a descent bolt-action 7x62 rifle costs 20.000 lei...) It will be a long time before I buy myself a rifle or something bigger but I may buy a pistol..maybe a Glock or a USP (sigh) :( Say what you wanted to say.

  • Things to do then.

    1. Research about gun laws. Suggest finding a book with actual laws with explainations. Check out if there are any new ones in effect or are about to be implemented.

    2. Lurk around the gun forums more, by the sound of things, your gun-fu is still weak. Dont be an ass and post shit. Lurk, read and understand. Kinda hard, but learn to seperate fact from bullshit

    3. Find a gun nerd friend. Not those Rambo wannabes but who loves firearms for its beauty, precision and discipline

  • OK, then tell me O' wise weapon expert about what I should have written about to prove the PKMs' worthiness if not in my previous comment? I don't deny that I still have a shit-load to learn but pleas support point 2. What was bullshit?

  • haha... sori, wasnt saying your previous post was bulshit. Was refering to when going to the weapons forums. Lots of newbies go "I want da Deagles with teh beamzs yo!" Dont be that.

  • LOL that was a good one! OK. I won't be a noob. BTW thanks 4 the criticism kinda opened my eyes to stop only playing with guns in games and get to know them better. The only prob is that there are a lot of term I don't really get. Can you suggest a link or something where I can find some explanations to the jargon regarding firearms?

  • PM sent since youtube wont let me post links

  • Say nice to see a Romanian here .

Ok let me tell you if you find your self over next door in Moldova and in Chisinau they have some really great gun shops there with allot of guns so be sure to drop by and learn somethings about the guns you may run into in your country .

I have seen over the years everything from AK 47's and Ak 74's in these shops and even a quite a few SVD's and some of the Romanian military guns for sale really cheap !

    Russian SVD is 1010 Lei /AK47 or 74 875 Lei !

  • That thing looks sweet lolz, must be tons of fun to fire, atleast while on a shooting range or sumthin

  • nice gun
