  • nice original reminds me of elementry school for some reason

  • your original's great btw. Reminds me a lot of Yuck

  • Buckethead RULES !

  • the second half reminds me music of sigur ros :) good job !!!

  • intense!

  • you're fucking sick!

  • the second song was pretty good

    gj!

  • what guitar is that?

  • Can you loop a delayed part? Or when you use the looper you can't use the delay?

  • @Ray4th no, you can't use the delay and looper together.

  • @Ray4th Just get 2 of them that what i did ...

  • what amp? any other effects?

  • @k0staZ roland microcube, no other effects

  • Thats great! Could you give the tabs u used to play "The Ghost"? (:

    Keep it up!

  • @4Chicago4 dont have them, sorry

  • can you save the loops on the dd7

  • @ganton34kk no

  • Comment removed

  • When you started playing i thought you were in a prisoner of war camp :D

  • dd7 after distortion in the chain right?

  • Sounds like a man having a flashback to the past, where children in his group got killed slowly. Is that too demented? :D

  • im gonna buy that pedal definately

  • Wow, just a really good demonstration of some of the things you can do with this pedal. Nice way to end off too.

  • this is fucking scary

  • not to sound gay but you have beautiful hands

  • Sounds cool dude.

  • dude the yelling in the background is so good for this song!

  • Nice work, love buckethead. Have thought about getting a Roland EV5? I bought one and I mainly use it on my DD-7 to fade out loops while playing. Just a friendly suggestion.

  • hahaha love it man! The kids playing or whatever in the background is funny :)

  • i think i liked your song better than bucketheads..... :) more happy.

  • i like the blanket..

  • BUCKETHEAD!!!!!

  • How many 40 second long overdubs can you do with this pedal??

  • What's all that screaming?

  • Nice 2nd part man!

And the 1st part is well played as well!

I wonder if the rc2 has the same effects or do I need both rc2 and dd7 if I like to loop and record with the pedal.. Hope to only need rc2--

But I WANT the modular effect as well..

Keep playin and having fun! :D

  • great pedal !

  • I find the Rc-2 is suffiecient enough

  • nice one!

  • man, i love your song at the end :P

  • OMG I need this

  • nice guitar and really good playing

  • can you only put 1 loop in at a time or can you put multiple loops on at the same time?

  • multiple, only up to 40 seconds though

  • only one loop

  • amazing

  • Sweet playing man! I wished this pedal for christmas, Im pretty sure im gonna love it :)

  • The song you made up is great, it's very pretty. I hope you make it into a full song. The fade out was a nice touch too.

  • lovin' your shoes :)

  • i miss those shoes

  • The DD-7 contains a looper. Only you can't use the delay effect when you're looping.

  • what does the loop station have that this doesn't?

  • @mg426426426 Mixable drum machine

  • awsome!!!

  • Hi, good demo!!! But, I need help here. I don't know whether to get a DD-20 or DD-7 for U2-type stuff for Christmas. I've heard bad reviews on the DD-20, and excellent ones too!!! If you look at mick3b1g's "U2 Overdrives" video, you'll hear one of the best, if not the best "Beautiful-Day" sound on UTube!!! The DD-20 has a screen and more Modulation control (Great for U2) but apparently, the DD-7 has way better tones!!! Please help me on this one, Matt.

  • The screaming in the background adds to the experience.

  • dd7 or dd20?

  • dd7 or dd3 ?

  • I loved the original part, anywhere we can hear more of your music like this?

  • does anyone know if a yamaha fc-5 will work as the external footswitch?

  • thats sounds awesome so you can just loop a riff then play over it all with this pedal? does anyonw know how much they are?

  • About 160 I think, then you gotta get the tap pedal and expression, so all told it's going to be about 200$

  • if you are gonna get a loop for like the same price you can get a boss rc-2 for about the same price. i got one and never regreted it. abslaoutely awesome

  • what's better... dd-6 or dd-7?

  • dd7

  • dd5

  • dd-7 or dd-20?

  • in my opinion the dd-7 is better than the dd-20. the dd-20 has more features but the dd-7 has the nescesary and its cheaper :3

  • but the dd20 can make reaally trippy warpy noises too :D

  • Your 2nd riff is really really catchy, I love it!

  • man, that second part is fantastic! i realy love this kind of harmony playing. could you tell me how you've done it (tabs, cords)

  • you can use the built in tap tempo by holding it for 2 sec. and also use the external tap using the fs5u tap tempo =)

  • Is it true on the dd-7 that has a delay that hds the note forever

  • nice the children playing in the back.

  • Added some nice atmosphere to the song

  • Nice vid.

  • man i wish my equipment worked

  • when taping ur time deal on the pedal can u tap it on the dd7 or do u need that extra pedal included to tap on?

  • you have to buy a seperate tap tempo. theres one by boss for their delays called the F5-U5 i think.

  • you don't need to buy one for such a high price if everything's ok with your hand and brains. All you need is a Jack cable, a DPDT switch without fixation and some tank to put it in. Even an old doorbell button will do, all you'll need is just to solder the Jack cable.

As you see, the system is simple. You can also just connect a Jack cable and tap the tempo with your hands, touching both contacts of the jack :D but that's kind of creepy.

  • you've got external input for tap pedal but its only for tapping delay time not for recording

  • hi guys, i have this pedal along with a digitech death metal pedal. I used to always run these pedals using a 9VDC power supply and a dasiy chain to connect the 2 of them together. recently both of them have stop working on the power supply for some strnage reason. this is very inconvient as running them on batteries is fairly costly. if anybody even has the slightest suspicion as to why the pedals are doing this please reply. thank you

  • maybe ur power supply croaked try a new one

  • what kind of guitar is that?

  • Which software/hardware do you use to upload your audio, audio/video, or video to youtube? ...myspace? for hq or hd playback? Help!

  • I'd take that as a compliment

  • LOL!!

  • why do i hear dying children in the background

  • why not?

  • hahah

  • Noise from sliding on the strings.

  • @steveandimrad just the voices of the children who died in the making of those shoes

  • @steveandimrad You took the bad acid.

  • what does modulated delay mean?

  • The modulated delay uses a chorus-like effect.

  • ...is there a kids party in the next room? :/

  • hi, is the footswitch on dd7 hard? do i have to buy an external footswitch for properly use of the tap tempo? thanks

  • You can do a tap tempo directly on the pedal, but it's rather akward. You have to hold it down for 2 seconds, which doesn't allow you to change tempo on the fly. Getting an external tap tempo switch is a must if you plan to use it a lot.

  • man does it has a noted delays (dotted eight and quarter note)? thanks...

  • yep

  • Hondo ii?

  • which would you prefer.. dd7 or dl4(new generation)?..

  • besides the DD-7 having more features than the DD-3, why should i buy this one? I am looking for a new delay pedal to buy but i am limited on cash so i am wondering if this is soo much better or just slightly better, is there anyone experinced or knowlegable enough to answer me?

  • it really depends, if you only want standard delays, buy the dd3, but if you want to do other crazy effects then id buy the dd7.

  • How easy is it to set an exact millisecond delay on this pedal?

  • Its easy. =)

  • Its pretty easy if u want to figure out exact u need a calculator.

  • AMAZING PEDAL!

    Best delay pedal ever

  • What's this guitar? Never seen it before.

  • Just so you know i havent watched this in over a month, and when i heard the opening notes of your riff, i started humming the lead. Haha. Very creative.

  • where is the ms set at on the first part?

  • how much ms are you using on the first part?

  • Does the modulation mode add the modulation to the guitar's tone or just to the delay?

  • Just to the Delay... your clean signal will still be unmodulated

  • dude, how do you get the delay and the hold workign together? As in playing a delayed loop?

Please get back to me anyone

  • he doesnt play with delay in hold mode...

  • gorrrgeous guitar tho!

  • howw does this thing do on battery life?

  • Haha, I would just buy an adapter, 'cause this thing will die ridiculously fast on batteries.

  • HAHA!! same here bruh! lol.

  • Does this pedal put the sound of screaming fans in the background? If so, I'm on it...

  • na only the sound of children screaming lol

  • lol..

boss needs to make a fan pedal. "press 1 for applause" "2 for screaming" "3 for belch" etc..with a looper

  • how about 4 for crazy drunk guy slurring profanities. That one is pretty common. Or is that just me? haha XD

p.s. I love the kids in the background reminds me of bright eyes. like the song "If winter ends". sooo good.

  • "press 6 to throw a beer"..

I could actually use that one!

  • Nice demo, thanks

  • I have a amp that doesn't have any digital effects. I was looking at getting this pedal and the boss rv-5 because I wanted reverb. Do you think it is worth getting the rv-5 or does this pedal have reverb like effects?

  • dont get the rv-5, get the hardwire rv-7

its pretty much the rv-5 but with a additional reverb type and true bypass

  • the rv-5 is an ok pedal, but not worth it, it sounds really nice at first but after a while it gets irritating

  • i just got this pedal can you pleeeeeeeeeez tell me the settings you have your knobs on

  • do you know if this would work for bass?

  • hey awesome vid, but can the dd-3 loop as well? Or do you recommend the dd-7 over it?

  • sounds like sigur ros

  • Can you use the reverse delay mode and the looper/hold mode at the same time?

  • No. When the pedal is in hold mode you can't use any delay at all. My suggestion is if you want to loop delayed phrases get another cheep delay pedal and place it before the DD-7. I use the delay in my Zoom G2 then into the DD-7 which sounds pretty nice.

  • Thanks for the help

  • whos screaming?

  • a group of product specialists from Digitech.

  • lol

  • spectacular!! I get one!

  • how does this pedal work? is there a clear button,to stop looping? THIS PEDAL SEEMS SO COOL

  • To stop the looping all you have to do is click it twice. It's really easy to stop the loops going without adding the price of another switch.

  • Your sound is amasing! can you tell me your effects set-up and your type of guitar? thanks!

  • Hey thanks for the response. I thought it was a neck through guitar. Still looks cool though.

  • yo dude..

i was looking at teh loops..

how many loops can you get all in all?

dang..sweet i love taht pedal..can you use the delay and the loop at teh same time??

  • i want this pedal

  • your original composition is beautifull

  • thanks alot.

  • I mean it looks like a washburn sb of some sort?

  • What Kind of guitar is that?

  • Tom Delonge's signature series..ciao

  • Delonge uses a Gibson ES-335, the guy in the vid aint using a Gibson

  • damn it sounds like a real song recording with all the kids in the background and what not

  • dude cab u give the settings of the pedal for the part of the buckethead song??

  • i totally forget, sorry.

  • lol

  • your original composition sounds a lot like explosions in the sky - your hand in mine

  • does it? i've never heard that song.

  • Nice video! Keep up the good work!

  • hahahahahahaha at "I use a lot of distortion" "Never say that again"

  • my favorite pedal

  • hey Tom Delonge, nice guitar

  • that doesnt look like any of tom's guitars, maybe the stripes but not even :) im just saying

  • oh... it kinda looked like his gretsch at first glance... nvm

  • i think its a carvin guitar

  • all the kid sounds in the background are awesome.

  • indeed

  • i need a delay pedal for soloing.

should i get the dd 7 or the mxr carbon copy

like which one would sound better?

  • buy dd-7 for cleans

    mxr carbon copy for dist

  • kthanks cause

I use a lot of distortion.

  • how much hold time has the pedal??

  • your guitar looks like tom delonges jajaja from blink 182

    xD

  • look again

  • never say that again.
