  • Pretty nice setup!...the best of all it's home made!....five star!...

  • uhhh, if your going to be that high tech about fishing, then why not just toss a hand grenade into the water & watch em float to the top... I mean where is the fun in this?

  • thats cool.i was thinking how id go attatchind my transducer to the back of my canoe, but now im going to do the same as you have done.

  • sorry but I just don't see the point the point. Surely the point of kayaking is the shallow draft and simplicity of the boat!

  • Thanks I'm trying to do the same thing, going to Belize and need a portable fishfinder. Got a Lowrance X 59DF and your box idea is going to work great.

  • very nice video! thats a great idea! i have an intex K2 Challenger inflatable kayak. do you think this board method would work for me? also have you ever fliped over with all that gear?

  • great video! how did you install that board? can you remove it easily for transport? I am modding my AE convertible, great kayaks

  • What you do is use zip cords that can easily be removed. The zip cords are added to the board on the underside. Next I bought two belts that can easily be opened or closed. When you want to add your box/board you just add it like a saddle to a horse. Then you just wrap the belts around the under side and tighten. After fishing you can easily remove the sadle. I choose the holed board wood because it's pretty strong and is super light.

  • very nice!

  • Excellent instructional video - straight forward and very informative. Well Done!
