if had 2 pairs of shures. The cables broke after a couple of months. Then i moved over to Ultimate ears they are better quality and sound much better than shitty shures

Se530's are the best In ears money can buy for instrumental music. Besides Ultimate ears custom pro10 and 11... lol

And the IE8, W3, UM3, UM3x...there's a lot of other IEMs in that price range. Not necessarily one is better than the other, as they have their own characteristics. But definitely try a few of them before dishing out the case and settling for one.

It depends on what music you listen to. The ie8 has more bass and soundstage while the shure se530 sounds smoother and have more precise sound quailty. I have booth of them but my shure cable cracked and im sending it to warranty.
